There's always a few terms we run across that we don't uderstand. Especially when one is new to the world of RPGs. This club also has a few terms unique to it so no matter what, you'll end up seeing something you don't know the meaning of right away. That's what this page is for. If there's a term that's not up here, you can post it at the OOC board asking for an explanation.
--Terms--
PL - Power Level. This is your strength rating and it's usually spoken of in two terms:
--Base PL is your pl when resting. This is the pl you add your stats to when you train and so on
--Max PL is the highest pl you can possibly attain. This is figured by adding up your base PL with all of your powerups and applicable items
KI - Your "inner power"; also known as "chi". This is used when going for powerups or buying attacks so it can be considered your most important stat and it comes in two forms.
--Regular Ki is how much ki you have currently after taking off any ki you payed for powerups that called for it.
--Technical Ki is how much ki you would have if you hadn't gone for those powerups.
IP - Item Points. Your character's money or "zeny". These are gained by writing special posts for ip and it is used to buy items that can add to your character's other stats.
AOE - Alliance of Evil. A group of baddies that had formed together in order to wreak havoc upon the universe. It was originally created by Furozen played by Akren_Garkos.
DB - shorthand for Dragonball. There are currently three sets of Dragonballs in this club. Refer to the Dragonball section for details on how to obtain them.
--EDB is shorthand for Earth Dragonball
--NDB is shorthand for Namek Dragonball
--DSDB is shorthand for DarkStar Dragonball
Dojo - Training place. Anyone who has some experience with martial arts would recognise this term. Some members known as "trainers" have their own dojo's for training other members. See the Trainers section for details on this. (see also: Trainer)
EOTS - Eye of the Saiyan. Shorthand term for this wonderful club you've found yourself in. It can also sometimes pertain to the IC Board of the club. It can also be seen as EOS.
IC - In Character. This pertains to all the actions your character makes during the Roleplay. (see also: OOC)
Kiona - A planet unique to the EOTS world. It has it's own training areas just like Namek and the other planets.
Namek(sei)- The planet which is home to, of course, the Namek race. It also houses it's own set of Dragonballs.
OOC - Out of Character. This pertains to you, the person, when you're speaking on behalf of yourself and not in your character's "voice". The OOC Board was made specifially for this. (see also: IC)
Techniques - Also known as attacks and abilities. Check the Technique section for the list of them and rules on obtaining them. There are currently three types of technique "classes"
--Class One are basic moves that aren't difficult to master but aren't as strong as higher techs. However they are still valueable as they typically won't drain your energy like higher level techs.
--Class Two are more advanced and therefore more powerful techniques. Some of these have prerequisites and tend to be finishing moves. Most of these will drain a character's power considerably.
--Master Class tend to be the most usefull but can also be the most dangerous to weild. Many are race specific moves and others require special training.
Trainer - A club member with a special status allowing them to have their own dojo in which they may train other members. See the Trainers section for more info on this.
UA - United Alliance. This is a term referring to the typically "good" planets that have become allies. The three main members of this alliance are Earth, Nameksei, and Vejitasei.
Vejita(sei) - The home planet of the saiyajin people. The ruling members are King Vejita (known in the series as Prince Vejita..the one married to Bulma) and Princess Vanetia (the sister of Vejita).
