Club Rules (see also Rules of Ettiquette)

These are the rules that the EOTS club/group/thingy goes by. Please be sure to familiarize yourself with these rules as they're for the beniefit and fairness of every member of this club. Dont forget to use your common sense, too, though ~_^ If there are any questions you have concerning these rules, please contact one of the moderators (preferrably via email).

--Line Counting-
-

-Spaces between lines do NOT count when counting up lines for a post.

-Any lines cut by groups ads are to be counted as half lines

-The standard for counting lines is screen resolution set at 800x600, font set to Times New Roman, text size set to medium.

-Sometimes groups will cause one word to make it's own line. This is NOT to be counted.

--Group Training-
-

-Any items that add to a person's stats from training only affect the person that owns them and not the people he/she is training with. Their partner's posts are also not used to gain the item bonuses. The only exception is while within a gravity room as that's almost like a training area. Remember to use sensible judgement. Abuse will result in a dock in stats and the item being removed from your inventory.

-Fights do NOT count as training. It cannot simply be a battle that moves from place to place. You either fight or train. You don't do both. Fight denotes enemies duking it out not friends having a spar.

-When group training you can only gain the equivalant of how many lines you post. For example: you're training with Vejita and he posts 4 posts and you post 2 posts, you only count 2 of his posts for yourself. You get out what you put in.

-Members cannot group train with any other characters they control, so if you have two characters, they cannot train together. The only exception is if it is saga related or approved by a founder. But it will not be allowed under normal circumstances.

-NO group training for ip.

--Transferring Stats & Second Characters-
-

-If you have a second character you cannot fuse, absorb, or transfer stats to your other character. If you wish to delete one character and start over, you're allowed to transfer a percentage of your old character's stats to your new one. You can only transfer the stats after having had the character for at least two months and it must be approved by a founder. No exceptions.

Rules for Transferring:
1. Trade in all your items for their ip equivalent, and divide by 2.
2. The starting stats are subtracted from the character (including ip, if any)
3. Subtract 30% pl and ki (multiply by .7). The result is the pl and ki you can transfer.
4. You lose all powerups
5. You loose all attacks and choose new ones per starting attack rules.
6. For races that gain to their base pl (ex: icejin, god, etc) you have to undo those powerups, getting the ki back from them and losing the pl. This is done before the above tasks.
7. If changing from a human character, ip gets divded by 2.

--Combat-
-

-No "God-moding" or autoing. You cannot write your big Kame Hame Ha hitting your opponent without his ooc consent. You also cannot make him/her use any moves that drain their energy without their consent. If you do so they have the right to ignore the improper use of their character.

-Take time into consideration. If an enemy fires an attack at you, you cant stretch a bit, take off your jacket, get a drink of water, then fire an equally powerful blast.

-Keep combat realistic! If you and an opponent cant agree with eachother over god-moding issues, contact a founder with examples of this and action will be taken.

-fight posts must be at least 25 lines long to be counted.

-you can't make opponents start a major energy attack without their ooc consent. And, duh, you can't make them begin a kamikaze attack.

-you can't overuse energy. You keep sending out ki blast after ki blast eventually you WILL weaken. The only exception is the enternal battery androids such as 17 and 18.

-using sensu beans during battle is allowed, however, you must somehow but yourself enough time to eat it and allow it to take effect (it doesnt happen right away it takes a moment). You can't punch somebody, eat a sensu, then punch them again without them reacting at all.

-you cannot add up combat bonuses until AFTER the combat is over

--Training-
-

-You cannot post training while allready in the middle of a saga (unless given founder permission to leave the saga), a fight, or while hunting for the Dragonballs.

-You have to be able to get to where you want to train. If you're on earth and want to train on Namek and don't have a ship or a teleportation ability you're not exactly going to be able to walk there.

-The limitations on the number of times you can train at a place run on a weekly basis, starting on Sunday and ending on Saturday.

--Fusion-
-

-Fusion Dance-
The characters fusing
must:
-Be willing to fuse
-Be the compatible races
-BOTH know the fusion dance

With the fusion dance the characters stay fused for half an hour. Their maximum power levels are added and multiplied by 0.7. The combined character has all the special transformations (Already used) and techniques of the two characters

-Potarra Earrings-
The characters fusing
must:
-Be willing to fuse
-Be biological (ie no androids can fuse this way)

With the potarra earrings, the characters remain fused until the earrings are removed. Their max pl's are combined and the combined character is allready in his maximum state of power.

-Stability Crystal-
The stability crystal fuses up to 3 characters together. They can be of any race, and you can have fun figuring out how the hell you'll look in the morning.  The fusion character has the techniques and Special powerups of all involved. Their max pl is combined and the character is allready in his highest form of power.

Howeve
r if the fused character from any type of fusion is killed, ALL characters involved in the fusion die as well. After separating, they will be exhausted and need to recover their strength for some time.

--Dragonballs-
-

-while it is allowed for two opposing parties to go after the same set of dragonballs, one cannot "find" a dragonball the other group has allready found without forcing a confrontation. Most often this will happen with the last dragonball.

-NO stealing the dragonballs without a fight (unless everyone involved agrees to it happening ooc)

-If a group wins a fight, they need to type the correct amount of lines for the dragonballs they "won" before they can make a wish. The "losing" group takes the lines they had used to get the dragonballs and uses them for ip (unless they can get their DBs back). Each person gets ip for their OWN posts and no one elses.

-the fight posts for the dragonballs are to be counted as fight posts. The "winners" can use it towards their line count for dragonballs instead, if they desire.

-you have to be ON the planet that the dragonballs are on to be able to hunt for them. You also have to be able to travel from planet to planet in order to hunt down the Darkstar DBs.

-The Dragonballs cannot be destroyed

-You need the Darkstar radar to hunt the Darkstar DBs

- You cannot keep a Dragonball for more than 8 days. Once 8 days has passed they automatically spread back across the planet (or universe in the case of the Darkstar)

--Limits-
-

-There is a maximum of 5 posts a day

-There is a maximum of two characters per person. Even the second character is subject to moderator approval
