Marty's leave would have to be considerably stronger than the dicey AOT to make FACED his best play. FACED is strong defensively, while almost every other candidate creates a more open position. However, the ess hook at 13l is big enough to make equity-sacrificing defensive plays fall short.
The only positional deficit of 7h OCTAVE +20 is creation of a new ess line, but sacs only two points for a decent leave and extra turnover.
