| STREET GEAR OFFERS APOLOGY: HOFFA SILENT (11/21) After a week of silence, Street Gear's CEO offered up a sincere, if not late apology for the recent misunderstandings invovling James Hoffa Jr. of the AFL-CIO. Neither Hoffa nor the AFL-CIO have said anything regarding the apology. To my fellow Americans: I, Martin Wallington, CEO of Street Gear, Inc. understand that most Americans are not please with the harsh statements I have made. They were not made to offend Americans, Hoffa or his team (AFL-CIO, Just For Feet, Foot Locker). I'm also aware that my company is being boycotted. All you guys were wright to boycott us. I wrote this letter to show I'm deeply sorry for disrespecting Americans and Hoffa. I hope you can understand my sorrow. Now it has backfired on me and my company. I am so sorry for the disrespect I showed last week. I feel it's not businesslike to do the things I did. |
