Japan 9 Days 9 Nights Tour 2002 - Day 3
As promised, we were brought to the famous Osaka Castle. The Autumn scenery was great, & go well with the Osaka City. Unfortunately we weren't able to go up the castle to enjoy it as time was running out. Before we left, I saw a stone with a strange craving there. Just as Pete said, those stones were brought by families to build the castle while the cravings show respective family.
We had our lunch in a chinese restaurant, there we met our ex-tour guide (for the China tour), haha this world is small. After lunch, we walked to a temple nearby. Before entering, we were asked by Pete to rinse our mouth & wash our hands before entering the temple, and is a must (something like the muslims who washs themselves before entering the mosque).
Our next stop, yet another temple, but a more intresting one which was built without a single nail on top of the mountain. It was believed that this temple has "holy water" as someone was healed instantly from her sickness after drinking the water of the temple.
There was a long queue to the "holy water", but it was fun waiting. After all, you feel younger (haha) or something like that after drinking it. While going down the mountain, we shopped around (something like kek lok si, but cleaner than it a lot, duh).
Approaching evening, we left for Kyoto (it was almost dark, but it was only 4pm). It was a long ride, so Pete played us a video. Have no intention to watch it, slept away the while 4-hour-ride. When we reached the hotel, it was already 8pm (the sky looked like 10pm to me). We had our dinner there (buffet, what else do they offer in hotels, huh?).
After settling our stuffs, me & shern went down to a nearby arcade to play a couple of games. We saw Pete there, but never bothered to play with him. The entrance to the arcade will be closed at 11pm so we had to return to out hotel room before 11, just as we did.
