3/17/01- Approximately 9 months away from IFL : Year One, things are coming into shape. This week the schedule was released and the championship game was dubbed the Smackdown Bowl. The MVP of the Smackdown Bowl will receive the 1st ever Mike Bunyer Outson Award. Here is the schedule

Week 1: Council Hill vs. Main Street @ Carnage Field
              Scales Mound vs. Hill Street @ The TotLot Asylum
Week 2: Main Street vs. Scales Mound @ The High Point Hole
              Hill Street vs. Council Hill @ The Boiler Room Dome

3/01/01 RULES STILL BEING DISCUSSED The official rules for the 2001 IFL: Year one are still in the 1st draft. If you have any crazy rules or ideas to help ratings, please visit the message board.

02/21/01 FRANCHISE PLAYERS AND NEW FRANCHISES ANNOUNCED The teams for next years IFL have been revamped. The new teams stand as Hill Street Hooligans,, Scales Mound Swat Team, Main Street Mayhem and Council Hill Convicts. The draft, to be held after softball teams will be drawn at random. The franchise players for each team are:

Scales Mound: Chuck Grindey, Brandon Ohms
Ridge Street : Eric Hesselbacher, Pooch,
Main Street: Matt Petitgout, Hoser
Council Hill: Biff, Bauer

These participants will have all control over draft, rules, and home stadium to name a few. More details to come as we are only 10 months away from IFL Football.
