Why is it a difficult task to write about human aggression?

It is difficult to write about human aggression, because it is such a multi-facetted topic. In the first place, the meaning of the word has changed within the last 2000 years from simply "to approach, an approach" to an "unprovoked attack". Furthermore you can look at it from different sides: a biological and a psychological one. Finalyl, there are so many forms from "biting your fingernails" to "commiting suicide". These are only a few aspects making it difficult to write about aggression.
