Nucleus, Nucleolus, and Nuclear Membrane

From: www.emc.maricopa.edu/faculty/farabee/BIOBK/BioBookCELL2.html

The nucleus acts as the control center for the entire cell.  The nucleus is the location of a variety of nucleic acids, including Deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) the carrier of inherited traits.

The nuclear membrane covers the nucleus to protect it.

The nucleolus is within the nucleus and makes ribosomes.
