Surviving are his widow Aggie; two sisters, Mrs. David Gobel of Pittsburgh, and Mrs. Mary Fisher of Zanesville Route 2; a brother, Adam Gobel of Roseville, and a number of nieces and nephews. Obituary from a local newspaper: Pleasant Ridge - Jan. 29 - Death has again been in our midst. Mr. Charles Fisher is dead. His illness last about one week, but was not considered dangerous until a few days before his death, which occurred January 26. He was born November 4, 1858, aged thirty-four years. He was baptized in infancy and at the age of seventeen united with the Lutheran Church at Jerusalem. Honesty and integrity characterized all his dealings with his fellow man. As he was always ready to help those who were worthy of help, he enjoyed the respect, good will and esteem of all, which was shown in his last illness. He leaves a young wife and a little son, besides aged parents, three brothers and a large number of friends and neighbors to mourn his loss. Rev. Hemsath delivered a beautiful sermon.
