Do you remember where you were when you heard the news?
Do you remember how life came to a standstill for a day?
Do you remember the attack that brought war to our land?
Do you remember the disbelief, the shock, the pain?
Do you remember the fear, the terror, the questions?
Do you remember the thousands of lives that were lost?
Do you remember the heros and the brave that were born that day?
Do you remember the tears, the mourning, and the resolve?
Or have you already forgotten?
May we never forget the attack that killed our innocent fellow countrymen.
May we never fail to avenge those who were murdered.
And may we never let such an attack happen ever again.
