40 | Comments | I love this engine! it exceeded my wildest expectations! The 1/4 mile times I posted were made on the 3rd pass the engine has ever made. I haven't been able to get it back to the track to better that time, but I am confident it will do it. and that was in my racer that was heavier than my street car! It will run in the low 14's easy... It was a pretty mild engine until I put the awesome heads on it, and raised the CR, it is incredibly fast for a 1776 IMO... I know there are faster ones out there, but I am completely happy w/ this one... this was the first Hi-Po VW engine I ever built, it still runs! I had a lot of help from my good friend Art Thraen in the construction of this engine, and I think it even impressed him. Copy this combo! you wont regret it! it kicks ass! HM |
