40 | Comments | This car has plenty of low end grunt, will roast the tires at will, and pulls very hard to 6500 rpm. It will cruise the expressway all day at 70 mph without a hint of overheating despite the fact that the street eliminator heads have a reputation of running hot. It gives 23 mpg average and runs on 91 pump gas with no problems. I am currently in the process of putting together a Berg 5 speed with close 3&4 gears. The close gear ratios will easily get the car into high 12 second range even with the belt and muffler on. I don't drive the car hard. It's more of an ego car than anything else. It gives me great satisfaction just knowing that it will romp on most of the V8's on the street. |
