5. Crankcase Old Bus case, Bored for machine-in 88 P&C's, Full-Flowed, was align-bored at one time.
6. Crankshaft Stock 69mm crank, no modifications
7. Connecting Rods Set of old stock rods
8. Pistons&Cylinders Vintage Klobenschmidt (sp?) machine-in 88's, cylinders were honed, running Teflon buttons
9. Piston Rings Old rings that were on the P&C's
10 Camshaft Reground stock camshaft. Was suppose to be ground to Engle 110 specs, but lift at cam specs out more like a 100
11 Cam gears stock used set
12 Cam followers Old worn out lifters
13 Pushrods stock aluminum
14 Cylinder Heads Stock heads 35.5X32, stock springs/retainers, bored for 88's, I P&P'd the heads and reshaped the combustion chambers.

38 Cost To Build All used parts that I got from the purchase of the car or already had laying around. Only out of pocket cost was the bearings and the carbs... Less that $200 in the whole thing!
39 Purpose Just something to beat around on the street/strip until I get my Ghia back together
40 Comments This engine has some really pathetic 1/4 ET's in it. Top end just isn't there. Bottom end is great though. Launches really hard and revs up fast. The small carbs really limit the engine and don't take advantage of the ported heads, plus it's a low reving motor with that stock crank. The engine is really screaming for some Weber 40IDF's. www.picturetrail.com/widefive
