Many come to the Pagan Pathway because they believe in a different morality. They know that the outside culture works to keep women    down and treats the man that truly respects women with disdain. It is a   very rare occasion that I see domestic violence when associating with Pagans. However, it does exists.

  Long before monotheistic religions
        swept through the nations
        spiritual paths had no names.
They were entertwined with day to day

Greetings!
Thank you for visiting the Enduring Oak Website.
Within Paganism there are many traditions both old and new that are helping many to understand what has been in their heart and minds since birth.
Enduring Oak is an eclectic collective that opens its arms to all those practicing positive, tolerant and thoughtful Pagan faith.

Our goals, listed below, have one theme: to provide a safer enviroment for our members by conducting both public and private events. We will still be having public study groups, such as the Golden Bough Male Mysteries Study Group and a the monthly study gathering. However, the Silver Bough Moon bonding group and Sabbats will be considered holy times for only the collective members. We will be screening our potential members more strenously and will not hesitate to excuse those found breaking our ethical code or committing vile and/or illegeal behaviour.
We hope that our new choices keep our enviroment safe and help our potential members make their desision to apply to Enduring Oak easier.
Elders,
Enduring Oak

Either You're on the Bus.....
By Owl Jones & Kevin Kane

What an exciting year for us! As of April 16th we were one year old and we have had so many great things happen. We recieved our ULC Congregation Charter, increased our council and held a lot of events!
We began programs in September of 2006 and are running them on a yearly cycle. So, this year is winding down and a new year is coming forward: we will be adding some sabbats and starting a new round of Full Moons with Silver Bough called "JUICY Moons".

Have you ever wondered? .....

Are we part of that whole chosen people thing in Christianity? Are we just bleepin' up the system for ourselves? Could there be an explanation of who we are and how we fit in?......

What are the hopes and dreams for Enduring Oak?
Each person here has their own and as a group we have many!

Some of our goals are:

To build a regional library that covers many genres as well as preserves online works on paper.

To provide a needs pantry for those in crisis as well as
build relationships with community crisis programs that will
          help aid those in need.

To provide a place for many faiths to come together to
build understanding and tolerance of all beliefs.

To provide a rural - urban connected retreat for those
wishing to build a more private relationship with the divine.

To provide a safe enviroment to learn form each other and  to teach our children about our lifestyles without negative, hostile
          interjection.

To provide pilgrimages to other incredible
events and places including sholarships for those unable to pay full price.

To provide education in sustainability and self reliance,
a basic tenant of the Pagan lifestyle.

A New Day ...A New Paganism...
By Owl Jones

Is it just me, or is the economy failing, Gas prices rising and more of my friends in need?

I it time to look at ourselves in the framework of a social movement.
"Ha!" I hear you say; "Get the hell out! I ain't gettin in this arguement!"

Guess what, neither am I. Because you're thinking politics and I am thinking social, tribal need. What is the Pagan experience? Is it not the return to the tribe, the common group?
