Falls Creek, New Zealand Falls Creek to Receive $3.1 Million for All Season Development Falls Creek will receive $3.1million from the Victorian State Government to assist with Resort Management's push to grow all-seasons tourism. The funding is part of the Victorian Government's Moving Forward program and has been warmly welcomed by Resort Management. The grant will be spent on Falls Creek's recently-unveiled All Season Gateway project, which is to be built in Falls Creek's Village Plaza precinct. The three main components of the All Season Gateway project are: � The creation of a landscaped plaza and terraced bank � The creation of a Plaza precinct traffic management system and landscaped arrival forecourt with signage and lighting � Creation of a landscaped, lit, and heated perimeter pathway from the Plaza that will allow safer pedestrian access Falls Creek Resort Management Board Chair Judy Ward said: �This project represents a key component of our four season strategy and it is wonderful to see the Victorian Government supportive of our initiative. �Falls Creek has so much potential as a four season destination and this funding will contribute significantly to the broadening of our visitor base.'' Falls Creek's All Season Gateway has been designed to complement the resort's major $40 million Village Plaza project, which will house a visitor information centre, ticketing and sports equipment hire outlets, a visitor information centre, a conference lounge, cr�che, gymnasium, and an array of restaurants, cafes, and accommodation, which are to be open all year.
