There is much excitement
to see. This year, the automakers are aiming towards fuel efficiency,
accessibility, power, and nostalgia. In the past year, Ford produced the
redesigned Mustang and Dodge revamped the Charger. This year, the pressure
is on American automakers to bring back the consumers. In recent years,
American car companies have suffered due to foreign markets dominating
the fields of design, fuel efficiency, and price. Due to this, many American
auto companies have taken a huge cut in jobs, wages, and development plants.
Toyota has jumped on the American Pride bandwagon and released news that
they will be producing the new 2007 Tundra full-size pickup truck will
be built in America at both Toyota Motor Manufacturing in Indiana and
the new San Antonio, Texas plant. |
