Original Publisher: Mattel Interactive

Turn off the lights. Turn up your speakers. You're about to experience
what no one has ever experienced - the totally immersive, surreal, and
beautiful adventure of Myst in realtime 3D. realMyst creates a living,
breathing world that will truly become your own - and one you will never
forget.
realMyst is the ultimate directors' cut of Myst in real-time
3D. Cyan's first ever real-time 3D game, it brings the breathtaking words
of Myst to life.
No longer in a "slide show" format, players are free to wander
through the five Ages of Myst wherever they please. Every object in the
game has been faithfully recreated so that you can move around and look
at it from every angle. You can "pick your own path through the forest
on Myst island, look lazily upward into the Channelwood trees... or hurry
out of the thunderstorm on Stoneship." Everything in the game is
the same as it was before, but now everything is alive.
See weather patterns and day/night cycles, sails blowing in the wind,
and countless creatures on the ground, in the air, and in the water. As
an added bonus, all footage of Atrus has been re-filmed at a much higher
quality.
The final bonus for Myst fans is the new Rime Age, given to you
on the completion of the normal game, which adds some extra story between
Myst and Riven.
See this page for a comparison between
the Myst and realMyst graphics.
