| _ She was born in Hawaii. _ Her father was a career military officer and an army dentist so her family moved lots of time from city to city. _ She has one brother and sister. Her older sister's name is Helen and her younger brother's name is Jon. _ When they were in Washington she went to the college, Brown Universty in Rhode Island. _ She married when she was nineteen years old. Her husband was a Naval Officer. _ They had four children. One of the daughters was borned in California, the other one was borned in Cambridge. The last boy was borned in there too, and her first son was borned in Florida. _ She started to write professionally after taking her degree from the University of Southern Maine. _ Her marrage ended at 1977, when she was fourtee years old. _ Her first book, "A Summer to Die" was about the early dead of her unlucky sister. _ Her older son was a fighter pilot in the United States Air Force. His death in the cocpit of a warplane gave her a big pain. _ Now she is a grandmother. She is living in Cambridge. |
