| I think that this world has both good and bad parts, but the bad parts are much more. For example nobody can make decisions, decisions are already made by the Elders. There are rules that control everything. You can't go out at night, can't ride bicycle if your age is not appropriate, can't ask questions etc. I can't understand why these fool Elders changed their world by putting lots of rules in it. The people are living like robots! There is no freedom, there is "Sameness". Of course everything has some good parts. The positive result for being controlled by rules are these: no pain, no mistakes, no arguments and fights, no conflicts, no starving. These people are not knowing the truth so they can not do anything to change this distopian world. One of the worst rules that this community has is about twins. If there are twin brothers and sisters born, only the heavier ones can have the right to live, the other one is being killed. How can this be possible! This example shows us that the rules had make the people blind. These people have no feelings, but this is not their fault. How can they understand the reality without feelings! I really wouldn't want to live in that community, I'm so happy to live in our world without SAMENESS... |
