Callie's a 15 year old girl stuck in treatment for her cutting problem, at Sea Pines, known by the girls as Sick Minds. Callie won't speak. At all. Believing she's to blame for her brother's sickness, she eventually starts to speak.
I give: **** out of 5.
It was a great book, but the ending leaved something to the imagination. I wish they would have gone farther, but the book ended. I've never found a sequel to it, so I doubt they're any.
Something Very Sorry, by Arno Bohlmeijer
This is the true story of a nine-year-old girl's sturuggle to come to terms with a tragedy, written by her father.
I give *** out of 5
Also a good book, but I found it to "young." Yes, I know it's written as a 9 year old but it still could have had more depth.
