| I am currently a second year student at the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine. In June of 2006, I will take part I COMLEX board exam, then will move to Clarksburg, WV to begin my 3rd year rotations. In my free time I enjoy playing the mandolin, kayaking, walking and riding my bike. I also like to spend time with my family, friends and my three kitties, Chocolate, Brownie and Oreo (they are like my kids!), and I enjoy travelling. Check out my travel page to see some pictures of where I've been. |

| I grew up in Lewisburg, West Virginia, a small town in the Greenbrier Valley. I attended Duke University where I majored in German and minored in History. One of the advantages of Duke was that I had the opportunity to study abroad twice -- I spent 3 months in Vienna and 6 months in Berlin. (You can read more about that in my travel page). Following my graduation from Duke in 1998, I headed back to my beloved Vienna to teach English through the Austrian-American Fulbright Teaching Assistantship program. I stayed there a total of nine months, then headed back to the States in the Fall of 1999 to study theology at Duke Divinity School. In January of 2000, I returned to Vienna to play trombone in the Duke Wind Symphony and study theology at the University of Vienna. In January of 2001, I moved out to Champaign, Illinois, where I served as the campus ministry associate at the Wesley Foundation until June of 2003. | |||||||||||||||||
