Spanish Mission
Architecture
Spanish Mission:

Where you'll find it:
Bayou St. John, Lakeview, Old Metairie, and Uptown.

What does it look like:
Arches, tons of arches!  Most Spanish Mission styled homes have those great red clay roofs, rounded windows and are always made
of stucco.  This architecural style became popular in the
1930s/1940s.  A great street in New Orleans to see some prime Spanish Mission examples is Fontainebleau in Uptown.
Great home done in Spanish Mission style, located on Jefferson Avenue in Uptown.
Beautiful home near Old Metairie
Nice home with arches on Audubon Boulevared in Uptown.
Beautiful Spanish Mission styled home located at 86 Fountainebleau
