| Spanish Mission Architecture |
| Spanish Mission: Where you'll find it: Bayou St. John, Lakeview, Old Metairie, and Uptown. What does it look like: Arches, tons of arches! Most Spanish Mission styled homes have those great red clay roofs, rounded windows and are always made of stucco. This architecural style became popular in the 1930s/1940s. A great street in New Orleans to see some prime Spanish Mission examples is Fontainebleau in Uptown. |
