- Start your book for an upcoming event then you can
take great pictures for your page
- Start with an Outline how many pages your book will
be and what type of information is on each page
- Have something constant in your books, constraining
your self to 3-4 differentl layouts, color schemes, fonts. Published
books don't drasticaly change from page to page keeping things
constant provides a more professional look.
- Organize you photos as to which page they will go
on.
- Try to use only photo safe, acid free products. When
including non safe objects seperate them from photographs.
- Budget wise it helps to buy in bulk, shop around,
keep your larger scraps, borrow tools from others to see if you
really like them, limmit your embelishments, and take it slow
find out if making a scrapbook is really your thing or a one
incomplete book three years later thing
