  • Start your book for an upcoming event then you can take great pictures for your page
  • Start with an Outline how many pages your book will be and what type of information is on each page
  • Have something constant in your books, constraining your self to 3-4 differentl layouts, color schemes, fonts. Published books don't drasticaly change from page to page keeping things constant provides a more professional look.
  • Organize you photos as to which page they will go on.
  • Try to use only photo safe, acid free products. When including non safe objects seperate them from photographs.
  • Budget wise it helps to buy in bulk, shop around, keep your larger scraps, borrow tools from others to see if you really like them, limmit your embelishments, and take it slow find out if making a scrapbook is really your thing or a one incomplete book three years later thing
