Before the trip iteneraries, maps, and a scanned copy of passport were added, Afterward photos & ticket stubs were also included Photo Mats A great way to display photos and more. These have been anything from a photo of our once clean office with caption "Anythings Possiple" to a custom mat made for my dad that contains 3 photos and a caption "Grandpa's Girls" and the girls names. Like any hobby mistakes are made you look back at past projects and think of all the things you would have done different.
My earliest book I have listed is college. What I like about it is the fact that it includes all the scraps and things I had saved away. It is organize by interests and not cronological. I have sections for room mates, activities, curiculum, and addmission and graduation. What I don't like about it now is a lack of photos which are your most important memorbilia.
The childhood book was done at the same time as the wedding gift for my groom. What I like about it is the format and I had. This was also my first book made for someone else. What I dislike about it is it is still incomplete. I had to take memorbilia from my fiancee and then return it with him not noticing. There were things for pages that I never found. Looking back I should have bought him a PS2. Because he never really appricated the book.
The Scottland book started out a journal but then I added added things to it. I have a bag full of other suvinours of the trip that are still in a closet. Why I like this book is it is done and has all my photos from the trip. I went with a college group and haven't kept in touch with them so this book is solely for me. What I don't like is that the type of book doesn't have the level of page protection I now use.
The anniversary book was a joint project with my sister for our parents 35th. Why 35th? Because we were 14 and 12 on there 25th. What I like is the new techniques I used. Previous books did not include as many curves. What I didn't like was that I was rushed at the end because of a new full time job.
The memorial book was my latest completed book. Made for my father in-laws momorial. It was also my most challanging book. We had limmed photos of his and trouble finding out who people were. My likes on this book was that I finally got all the colors right an used only a few different layouts so this book flowed right and had a professional look. What I disliked was the motbidity of putting together this type of book my husband helped me with it and I could see his grief. His dad was only 53 and it was really just too sudden.
