| This page was designed as part of a project at UOIT. The purpose of this project was to pick something which interested us and research it in detail. I chose to examine how global warming would inpact glaciers world wide. After traveling to British Columbia and Alberta for two summers, I reliezed that in a few years most of the glaciers I saw would be greatly retreated or non-existant. After doing research on the Rockie Mountain glaciers, I found that what was happening was happening all over the world. However, at different locations in the world, this was occuring at different rates. |
