Unlike his cousin Aurora (the Sleeping Beauty) his parents made sure they had enough invitations to go round. (The one "evil" fairy failed to attend because she didn't want to miss her favorite soap operea. She sent him a nice pink and mauve unicorn though.) He's been floating through life ever since . . .
