Inscribed in Gaelic on one side of the massive blade are the words "Firinne, Dualgas, Onoraigh," which translates to "Truth, Duty, Honor," and on the other side, "Trocaire, ach Ceart," which translates to "Mercy, but Justice." He also has a wide assortment of knives and a hunting bow. Occupation: Druid of Clan Cernunnos Background History: Senchas is the youngest son of a warrior-Chieftain of the semi-nomadic tribe of Iceni. Known for their military prowess as well as their wise ones, the Iceni are respected and feared throughout the tribes. As was customary, the oldest son of the Chieftain became his heir, and the youngest was sent to the Druids for spiritual training. Most return home to lead their people into battle, but some hear the call to the Order, and choose to remain. Senchas joined the Clan of Cernunnos when he reached adulthood at the age of 16. Clan Cernunnos is very different from Clan Morrighan. They do not place any special importance on celibacy, because they generally respect the importance of the duality of the feminine and masculine divine. They are also more far-flung and less restrictive, and while the Morrighani (except for their circuit judges) generally travel in groups, it is not uncommon for a Druid or Druidess of the Stag to return home to raise a family and serve as a village's wise one. Senchas has been rising steadily through the ranks of Clan Cernunnos since his formal induction into the Order at the age of 21. He is widely recognized as Mordecai's second and the true successor to the beloved Elder.
