Edwin made his career as a Captain in the young Army Air Force, in WWI.
On 26 October 1918, Edwin married Elizabeth Sullivan, the beautiful
daughter of Bogalusa Mayor Col. William
Henry Sullivan, (1865-1929) and his wife, "The Mother of Bogalusa," Elizabeth FitzRandolph Calkins.

The young Frith family made their home in Franklinton, Washington Parish,
Louisiana, and by 1929, they resided in Buffalo, N.Y. By 1935, "Bettie" was in New Orleans, where she
died on 8 February 1935.
The Obit says she is survived by her two daughters, Bettie and Sally Frith.

Edwin was not mentioned.
