Paul Emile Bienvenu
b. 18 Oct 1873
Christened: 17 Nov 1873
New Orleans, Orleans Parish, Louisiana
m: 19 Apr 1909, Orleans Parish, Louisiana
d. 10 May 1954
New Orleans, Orleans Parish, Louisiana

Like all of his siblings, only the middle
and last name were used in daily life, and in
records, outside of his birth record.

As an adult, Emile stood around 6', with sandy brown hair which he
kept short in the fashion of the 1930's. He was clean shaven, and
looked very much like his father, in features and build. His eyeglasses
were a little more contemporary to the 1930's.

Emile was a Certified Public Accountant, the President of
the Louisiana State Board of Certified Public Accountants,
as well as the author of several books.

Emile was enumerated with his father, Dr. Delphin Bienvenu,
in the 1880 Federal Census for Labadieville, Assumption,
Louisiana.
(The modern transcriber rendered their last name as 'Bierman'
for the LDS search..)

Emile was enumerated in the 4 Jun 1900 Federal Census for Ward 1,
St Charles parish, Louisiana, in the home of his 64 year old widowed
father, Dr. Delphin Bienvenu. His sisters Anna (37) and Nizida (27) resided
in the home at the time.
Making out Emile's listed occupation at the time is difficult in the
hand-written record, but it appears to be 'Commercial Finance' with the word
'Georgia' written above it at an angle.

Emile was next enumerated, as head of household, in the 25 Apr 1910 Federal Census
for the 6th District, 3rd Precinct, New Orleans, Orleans Parish, Louisiana. With him
are his wife, Eleanor W., (22) and infant son, Thomas F. (3 months) His occupation
is listed as 'Public Accountant'.

Emile's little family was enumerated in the 19 Jan 1920 Federal Census for New Orleans, Louisiana (as Bienvenn).

The Emile Bienvenu family was enumerated in the 1930 Federal Census for New Orleans, Orleans,
Louisiana. (The modern transcriber rendered their last name as 'Biermanie')
