His first wife, Myra Ann McGoey, looked like Ava Gardner.
She was the daughter of John J. McGoey, his wife Elsie Bruning. Myra had one
brother, John J. McGoey, Jr. She died in Cambodia on 23 Aug 1958, and was
buried on 6 Sep 1958, in Metairie Cemetery, New Orleans, Louisiana. Her service
was held at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, 3200 Canal Street,
New Orleans, LA. No issue

Thomas was first enumerated, as a 3 month old infant, in the 25 Apr 1910
Federal Census for the 6th District, 3rd Precinct, New Orleans, Orleans Parish,
Louisiana. With him are his parents, Emile (36), Eleanor W. (22)

Thomas was next enumerated with his parents in the 19 Jan 1920 Federal Census

Thomas was next enumerated with his parents in the April 1930 Federal Census
for New Orleans, Louisiana. (indexed as Biermanie)

He married secondly, Josephine Bell, in a Buddhist ceremony on 13 (14 in
USA) March 1959, Phnom Penh, Cambodia. Josephine worked for the State Department,
and met him on his way back to his position as Comptroller of the MAAG (1958-1959)
in Cambodia, after he escorted his first wife's body back to the states.
