About The Great Houses of Runescape
The Great Houses is an organization established by
Timmymwd in October of 2003. It is not an alliance, but rather an organization
of clans who agree to conduct themselves in certain ways. For
instance, all member clans agree to trade resources at a certain price,
and agree not to interrupt on fun wars, etc.
It's a way of making sure that clans get along properly
and obey certain rules. However, not all clans get along, in fact
- it is perfectly alright for member clans to wage war against each
other. The GHoR makes sure that they abide by any rules declared
before the war takes place.
Two councils decide the rules the clans must abide by:
The Council of House Lords (made up of clan leader), and the Grand
Council (Made up of clan leaders and knights). To join is simple:
have 100+ members in your clan!
