in commeration of National Police Week 2007 and Rolling Thunder 2007 in Washington DC

The XT was dropped off almost 3 weeks later, on Friday, 27 April. Each will take 6 to 8 weeks before they will be returned.
However, and as I did last May and most Mays since I began photographing National Police Week in 1994 and Rolling Thunder / Memorial Day Weekend in 1993, similar to my May 2006 Writings on the Wall Documentary Project, in May 2007, and in commemoration of National Police Week 2007 and Rolling Thunder 2007 I have created this webpage, HANDS - HINDSIGHT - WALL May 2007, which draws on the haunting similarites between the two events.
The HANDS - HINDSIGHT - WALL 2007 project begans with never before seen images from my National Week 2006 and Rolling Thunder / Memorial Day 2006 collections.
In the case of National Police Week, the actual ongoing themes associated with the HANDS - HINDSIGHT - WALL are WITH THESE HANDS, AND IN HINDSIGHT, and WRITINGS ON THE WALL. As well as FACES IN A CROWD since upclose shots of faces are well represented.
Pertaining to Memorial Day / Rolling Thunder commemoration at the Vietnam War Veterans Memorial the themes are FIRST HAND REFLECTIONS, AND IN HINDSIGHT and WRITINGS ON THE WALL.
There are haunting similarities between the images that I have taken at the Vietnam Veterans Memorial and those from the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial.
