| ORIGINAL TEXT that appeared here DELETED 6 Janaury 2006 . . UNDER REVISION I mention this particular specific because it plays a most important in my story. It was over Easter of 1985 that I would meet Jim Garrason. Causing Greg to go ballistic and at which point he and I would seperate. At the time we were sharing a house on Morningside Lane in Mount Vernon VA with Michael and Smitty. Greg and Champ would rent an apartment on Four Mile Run in Arlington VA which they had planned to do since the first of the year but Greg was waiting for me to do something so that he could react. And so he did. Shortly after the seperation we would resume seeing each other ... again. And it was then that I'd realize that he and Champ were doing a lot of coke. And, perhaps, dealing. And, yet, had I ever entertained the idea of dealing or even snorting coke or dating anyone Greg ... and others .... would go ballistic. And while he associated with many men, mostly black, that he would drug and deal with most of his consumers who were white would ask their black friends to fetch cocaine from Greg. In late April or early May I would move to 1320 Q Street and begin working at the old DC Convention Center. By June Greg and I were back on again. Though we stayed at our own places we'd see each other frequently. During which time he'd pretend that had it not been for that white guy named Jim who he percived as 'white trash' and a 'white whore' that was into blacks for only one thing ... he and I may would still be living together. ORIGINAL TEXT DELETED . 6 January 2006 . Jim would ask me to drive down with him to Atlanta over Labor Day weekend. By that time he would make regular trips from Atlanta to visit me or other black guys in WDC on weekends. Always asking me if I could fetch LSD from one of the several white guys that I knew. Just before leaving for Atlanta my brother Joe would call and mention that he and his housemate were moving to a brand new house in Burtonsville MD over Labor Day weekend and wanted to know if I could help. I said that I would love to but I had just made plans to drive down to Atlanta. Almost 20 years later they are now in the process of selling that home. I mention Easter, the start of spring and Labor Day, the start of fall, because they are important specifics to my story. Had I been white my expereinces would have been just the opposite |
