 Elton Vs Bridge Colts

This was an evenly matched game between these two sides in the first half. The Colts and Elton creating chances at both ends of the pitch. Elton were first on the score sheet which saw Luc score his first goal of the season with a header from a superb corner kick. The Bridge Colts came back to even the game out. The first half ended 1-1 with an all round performance the lads could be proud of.

The second half saw Elton take their foot of the pedal and they paid dearly for it. The Colts went into a 2-1 lead with a very well taken goal. Elton had their chances as they saw one of Luc's shots hit the cross bar but they couldn't follow it up as the ball came back out in front of goal. The Colts further increased the score line with another goal making it 3-1. Elton came back with chances from Chris, Ryan and Matt but they couldn't find the back of the net. The Colts finished off the game with another goal making it 4-1. The score line didn't reflect the game as Elton had quite a lot of the play especially in the first half.

MOM was shared this week and went to Chris and Ryan Hunter.
