Message From The Country was the final Move recording. Message From The Country was recorded during the same period that Electric Light Orchestra's debut was recorded. It was thought that ELO's first album was originally meant to be a Move album.

A year later the Move would release "Split Ends", a compilation album that contained the material here as well as a few stray non-album singles.

From this moment on... the Electric Light Orchestra experiment was in full throttle.
