Looking
On, for all practices and purposes is really the first ELO album without
actually being an ELO album. Music is written by all the original players
including Bev Bevan who rarely writes much less sings. Richard Tandy is
already involved in some capacity. Roy Wood begins moving away from "pop
sensibilities" and begins to experiment with new instruments as he
hinted on Shazam.
Looking On sounds almost like "No Answer" but without pretentions.
The recently released remaster includes 10 bonus tracks.
