Judith Butler 17050610 - 17461002, daughter of Humphry, married 17350501 to William Lamb 1700 - 17420322, and their son William 17370816 lived 2 years. She married 17430623 to George Trowton, and baptised Sarah 17441111 then died nearly 2 years later.

The Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of Newnton in Wiltshire acknowledge Frances Washborn, Widow, a Parishioner of Newnton, ask that ye Gentlemen of Tetbury will let her reside in their said parish as her Native Place and upon least notice of her behaving ill we promise to fetch her back again without giving any expense to Tetbury in any way.

These five children are not accompanied by any burials, although the Census only counts 3 of them. Then he baptised Elizabeth 17370821, John 17390907.

William Washborn, born about 1728, enlisted himself in the 24th Regiment of Foot when he was about 19, and has continued for 22 years.
In his Statement to the Justices of the Peace in Sherborne, county of Dorset, Reference Gloucester Records Office, P328a OV 3/5/1 dated 20 July 1769, he explained that his father was legally settled in Tetbury, and he has no other settlement entitlement.
Elizabeth, wife of William Washborn, and their two small children were unable to travel, and had to ask for relief by the Officers of Sherborne. They decided to convey Elizabeth and the children to Tetbury
