Phillip may be a brother to Thomas. He was buried at Tetbury 1709 - 17710714 aged 62 and his widow Mary 1713 - 17820514. They baptised Mary 17350925 - 17430530 lived 8 years, Diana 17380813 - 17430704 (died five weeks after Mary), Betty 17410528 died of Small Pox buried 17610331 as Elizabeth aged 19, Mary 17440408 and Thomas 17470920.

Mary Lacey baptised 17440408, married 17631220 to William Wear and they baptised Elizabeth 17641213, William 17661123, Thomas 17681204, and Mary 17701125.

Thomas Lacey 17470920, son of Philip, married 17820714 to Sarah May and baptised Thomas 17841121 lived 4 months and Elizabeth 17890621.

Gloucester Record Office, reference D 566 T 2/1 contains two Deeds relating to Philip Leacey's house in Gumstool Street.
They appear to be 2 versions of the event on 16 June 1770. Philip leaves his house to Thomas, his son. In the first copy, the other lives are James Lewis, sons of William?, and George son of William Seally, both aged 13, and in the second version, the third appears to be William Wear the younger, aged 4 years, son of William Weare the Elder of Tetbury, labourer.

David Lamb 17050906 - 17781025, married 17320702 to Anne Wilkinson, 17060210 - 17851016, daughter of Thomas. They baptised John 17330408 - 17350507 lived 2 years, twins 17360415 - 17360504 Mary and Thomas both lived 19 days, Elizabeth 17370612, and David 17420824.

David Lamb 17420824, son of David, baptised Thomas 17640401, Mary 17660223, and Sarah 17680523. In 1769 the Small Pox epidemic killed his two Marys, his daughter buried 17691210 and his wife two days later.
His second wife Betty baptised John 17710923 then was buried 17780726.
His third wife Esther buried their son Joseph 17860120 and baptised Mary 17920311.

Elizabeth Lamb 17370612, daughter of David, married 17601013 to Richard Millichamp Tippetts 17321019 son of John. He baptised Mary 17621129, Thomas Millichamp 17641025, Elizabeth 17690413 and Thomas aged 3 years on 17710325.

James Lamb of Fairford in Glos on 11 Sept 1731 begins land owning in Tetbury with a lease for 99 years at an annual rent of 3-0-0, reference D566 T 2/2
James Lamb Esq. in a document reference D566 T 2/9 signed on 11 Sept 1731 a lease from the Trustees of some of the waste ground on which part of the White Hart Stable stands. This document appeared too delicate for me to open.

John Lamb born 1630 - 17320428, was buried aged 102.
His son John 1655 - 17050803, was married twice. He baptised a son John the same day his wife was buried - 16990412 who died aged 60.
He then baptised William 17020627 and John Lamb Junior was buried aged 50, a month before his son David was baptised 17050906. Mary Lamb buried 17420101 appears to be John's widow.

John Lamb 17350718, son of John, married 17640126 to Ann Turner 17390401 daughter of John, and baptised Alice 17641214 - 17851118, Ann 17661109, James 17690328, Robert 17710331 and Mary 17780802 who lived a month. They buried Jane 17791005 and a second Mary was baptised on 17830225.
John Lamb and Ann are mentioned in the Will of John Turner signed 24 Feb 1773

William Lamb 17020627 - 17420322, son of John, married 17350501 to Judith Butler, 17050610 - 17461002, daughter of Humphry. They baptised William 17370816 lived 2 years. William's widow married the younger George Trowton 17430623.

On May 31 1735 the Overseers presented their accounts for bringing her,
her family and her Goods from Highworth to Lechlade then to Tetbury,
where she was placed in Mr Badnedge's care in the Workhouse.
The items are

Expenses not detailed - 6 receipts including doctor's bill.

Elizabeth Lander, was returned to Tetbury from Highworth, reference P 328a OV 3/3/1 dated 15-May 1735

On 15 May 1735 the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of Highworth Wiltshire ordered that Elizabeth Lander, widow of William Lander deceased, William Lander and Mary Lander son and daughter of the said William who had a Settlement Certificate dated 9 Feb 1724 for Tetbury should be returned to Tetbury.
They are reduced through sickness to great poverty and are becoming chargeable to the Parish
