Essential knowledge for salvation and survival.
PART ONE
In
the beginning Elohim created the heavens and the earth. Who is
Elohim? Elohim is a plural word, yet the word of Elohim says:-
Have we not all
one Father, hath not one El created us? (Mal.2:10)
To understand this mystery let us study another plural word, to show that
the word of Elohim is immutable. Panim.-Face. As a face consists of many parts
and each is used to communicate to and or from the brain, yet no part can
operate independently from the brain. But if the brain be dead or even asleep,
so, every part of the face ceases to communicate.
Even so with Elohim :- Firstly our Father then His Son, (Prov.30:4) Seraphim,
Cherubim, Angels and lastly the Saints. (Ps.82:6)
You will ask now, How could this be? As it is written that Elohim created
all things. Where at that time were the Saints?
Before the transgression was not Adam Kadosh-Holy, and from what was "woman
" made but from a rib of Adam.
Another illustration that Elohim has given us of Himself is the rainbow, the
colors of which are only visible because of the source of light. Each color
has its own wave length and function but none can exist without the light
source.
Next ( Gen.2:4) we are introduced to Yehovah. Who is Yehovah and why by tradition
do some fear to mention His name?
Yehovah is the ever living Son of our Father, (Ps.2:7-12) and the reason some
fear to call Him by His name, is because they don't know Him.
If you fear your pronunciation of His name is incorrect, don't fear!
as it is much closer than Ya Ya or Ha Shem or G-D and our Messiah will tell
you all things when He comes.
He revealed Himself to Israel by this name (ex. 6:2-9) but they refused to
acknowledge Him as their Elohim and the many still do to this day (Amos. 5:21-27)
to their own detriment.
In answer to the question of the serpent, the woman showed the adversary her
desire to be asElohim, although before she answered, being kadosh-holy she
was already Elohim. But by saying "Elohim
hath said ye shall not eat of it neither shall ye touch it lest ye die".
When Yehovah Elohim had said "Thou
shalt not eat of it, for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely
die"!
In thinking to build a fence around the law of Elohim she bare false witness
and consequently transgressed all of the ten commandments.
The woman hearing the words of the adversary, on one hand "Ye
shall be as Elohim". and knowing that her words "Neither
shall ye touch it lest ye die ". were only the words of man, on the
other hand "When the
woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the
eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise. She took of the fruit thereof
and did eat and gave also unto her husband and he did eat". Gen. 3:6.
The tree was not good for food! All her thoughts were a lie, but she believed
them and rejected the word
of Elohim. "In the day
that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die".
Oi what a faithless Sabbath day that was. (Hos. 6:7. Ex 31:16.)
Yehovah Elohim had said "In
the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely
die . Gen. 2:17.
Some would say that a day is a thousand years, (Ps. 90:4.) and as both Adam
and his wife died within that time, the word of Yehovah stands true. However,
both the word and nature attest that the
"evening and the morning were one day .
Gen. 1:5. Other
say 'Thou must inevitably become mortal'. But they were mortal already, as
they had not eaten of the tree of life. As it is written,
Lest he put forth his hand and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and
live forever. Gen.3:22. Still others say that 'the all merciful G d
mercifully modified the penalty' and so they did not have to die on the day
of their sin. If this were so, who could rely on the word of Yehovah to be
true? How would we ever know that He means what He said? Or, if He excused
them, then He must excuse our transgressions also. Not so, we could never
worship One unstable as that.
"My son, fear thou Yehovah
and the King and meddle not with them that are given to change ". Prov..24:21.
"The grass withereth,
the flower fadeth: but the word of Elohanu shall stand forever". Isa.40:8.
"For I am Yehovah, I
change not, therefore ye sons of Yaakov are not consumed . Mal.3:6.
(Ps.119:89,152,160.).
Yet others say animals were substituted for their lives. "And
Yehovah Elohim made for Adam and his wife garments of skins, and clothed them".
Gen.3:21.
Although this concept may appear to tally with
the levitical sacrifices, it still can not be right, for the following reasons
:- ( 1.) If it were so then an animal would be our redeemer. (
2.) No sin could be forgiven for the past two thousand years. Therefore all
those who have lived and died during this time have died in their sins, unforgiven.
Nowto circumvent this "seeming" impasse the prayer book states O may my death
be an atonement for all the sins, iniquities and transgressions of which I
have been guilty against thee". If it were thus, we would become
our own redeemer, but this could never be, as, by our own admission we ourselves
are sinners. Hear the word.
"Yehovah looked down
from heaven upon the children of Adam to see if there were any that did understand
and seek Elohim. They are all gone aside, they are altogether become filthy:
there is none that doeth good no not one ". Ps. 14:2,3.
"Ah sinful nation, a people laden with iniquity a seed of evil doers, children
that are corrupters: they have forsaken Yehovah, they have provoked the Holy
One of Israel unto anger, they are gone away backward.
Why should ye be stricken
any more? The whole head is sick, and the whole heart faint. From the sole
of the foot even unto the head there is no soundness in it, but wounds, and
bruises, and putrefying sores: they have not been closed neither bound up
neither mollified with ointment . Isa. 1:4-6.
As none of us is ' without blemish' such a sacrifice, being polluted would
be unacceptable. There is only one Holy One of Israel. (Isa.30:15,31:1,41:14.)
We must remember the transgression of khava - Eve, and fear to take
part of the same sin, by believing as truth that which Yehovah has not spoken.
"Add thou not unto His
words, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar". Prov.30:6.
Man will squirm every way to avoid the truth and try to vindicate his own
works. The truth is obvious but our consciences being evil does not want to
acknowledge it.
The sin of Adam and his wife carried the penalty of death in the same twenty
four hour day. The word of Yehovah being "forever
settled in heaven". (Ps.119:89). must be exacted to the letter in full.
That very same day Yehovah gave His perfect life for theirs, and not only
theirs, but for all who have brought themselves under the penalty of death
since the beginning of the world. (Eze.18:4.).
"Yehovah is my strength
and song, He is become my salvation He is my El". Ex.15:2.
"Yehovah
is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer, the Eloha of my rock, in Him
will I trust, He is my shield and the horn of my salvation, my high tower,
and my refuge, my savior. Thou savest me from violence". 2.Sam. 22:2,3
"For I know that my redeemer liveth, and that He shall stand at the latter
day upon the earth". Yov.19:25.
"Thus
saith Yehovah the King of Israel and his redeemer. Yehovah of hosts. I am
the first and I am the last, and beside Me there is no Elohim". Isa.44:6,7.
As we study further
into the word of Elohim, it will be seen how He reveals Himself as our redeemer.
"And
at the end of days it came to pass, that Cain brought of the fruit of the
ground an offering unto Yehovah.
And Abel he also brought of the firstlings of his flock, and of the
fat thereof. And Yehovah had respect unto Abel and to his offering. But unto
Cain and to his offering, He had not respect, and Cain was very wroth, and
his countenance fell".Gen.4:3-5.
Of all the Moadim Yehovah
- Festivals of Yehovah, which is marked by "At
the and of days "? Yes! Only one. Khag ha Bikurim - The Feast of First
fruits. As we are told. "And
ye shall count unto you from the morrow after the Sabbath, from the day that
ye brought the sheaf of the wave offering, seven Sabbaths shall be complete".
Forty nine days (7X7) then is the feast on the fiftieth day.
Why did Yehovah have no
respect to the offering of Cain? Being disobedient, his offering taught no
lesson regarding our salvation. However the offering of Abel teaches us that
the only offering which was accepted by our Father in heaven for our atonement,
was the perfect offering of His first born Son Yehovah.
This was typified
by Abel’s offering of the firstlings of his flock. "It
is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul" Lev. 17:11.
The divine protection
afforded to Noah and his family shows us that if we are obedient and believe
the words of Elohim, as they did, we also receive that same divine protection.
How many knew the flood was coming? How many are prepared today for that which
is coming? even Yaakov's trouble, a
time of trouble such as never was since there was a nation .
(Jer.30:7.).When two thirds of Israel is to be cut off. Zech. (13:8,9.)
"Yehovah hear
thee in the day of trouble. The name of the Eloha of Yaakov defend thee.
Send thee help from the sanctuary and strengthen thee out of Zion".
Ps. 20:1,2.
How does He protect us? He writes the names of those that believe in the book
of life. And He covers them with His feathers and under His wings they trust,
His truth is their shield and buckler. ( Ps.91:4.9; Dan.12.1.)
Now we know that Yehovah Himself is our Kipur - atonement, our redeemer and
our salvation, and we know with certainty from the Wave sheaf and feast of
First fruits, that the life of the unblemished first born only, is accepted
by our heavenly Father for the forgiveness of our sins.
Who now can receive this atonement and be cleansed from all their sins? "If
ye will not believe, surely ye shall not be established. Ye are My witnesses
saith Yehovah. And My servant who I have
chosen: that ye may know and believe Me, and understand that I am He: before
Me there was no El formed, neither shall there be after Me. I even I am Yehovah
and beside Me there is no saviour
. Isa.43: 10,11.
END OF
PART ONE
The lesson
to be learnt from part one is simply this:- Have faith in the promise that
Yehovah is your redeemer. When you steadfastly believe this truth, you are
ready for part two.
May the hearts
of the children of Israel be united to their Father and the heart of our heavenly
Father turn again to His children Israel.
Shalom
.
Eliyahu
With
a voice of singing declare ye, tell this, utter it to the end of the earth;
say ye, Yehovah hath redeemed His servant Yaakov . Isa. 48:20.
PART TWO
For what reason was the aseret hadvarim-ten
words given to Israel?
1. As a covenant from Elohim to show that
He has set His people at liberty. (Ex. 31:16;34:28.)
2. That by their obedience to the words
of His covenant they may show that they believe Him. "As
it is written".
Now therefore if ye will hearken unto My voice indeed and keep
My covenant, then ye shall be mine own treasure from among all peoples: for
all the earth is mine; and ye shall be unto Me a kingdom of priests and a
holy nation"Ex.19:5,6.
If you set out to do
the law, you shall fail! The key word is "Lo
- Thou shalt not".
We by our own works can add nothing
to the perfect plan of Elohim for our salvation, for it is already done and
completed and if we believe that.
"Thou shalt not" .
If we believe that Yehovah
the first born son of our heavenly Father promised His own blood as the holy
atonement for our sins, what can we add to this infinite. merciful gift of
love? Only our acceptance.
Having done that we can now rejoice in the
gospel which promises. "Thou
shalt not ".
What better news could we have
than. "I am Yehovah Eloheyka
which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage,
Thou shalt have no other Elohim before Me". Ex. 20:2,3.
You know the Hebrew says al panay
- before My face, that is, not only is He our first Elohim, but He is our
only Elohim, because there is no other Elohim. Therefore it is pointless to
make any images, and, as we don't make images there are none to bow down to.
so we rest on the promise of Elohim alone, therefore "Thou
shalt not".
"Remember
the Sabbath day to keep it holy". Remember that our one and only
Elohim is our creator, who by resting on the seventh day has shown us that
everything needed for our life on earth, and our redemption from our earthly
sins is complete and we can add nothing to His perfect work, therefore He
says "Thou
shalt not do any work". How
then are we to. Keep
the Sabbath to sanctify it ? Deut. 5:12.
When Yehovah told Moshe to sanctify
the people, they were to do two things. (1.) Wash
their clothes” - rid yourself of the dirt of this world -
be clean. (2.) Come
not at your wives”. - come not near a woman.
Therefore in order to keep holy
the Sabbath day, we are to prepare by washing and having clean clothes, and
abstaining from worldly lusts of the flesh. As
it is written. If thou turn away thy foot from the Sabbath, from doing thy
pleasure on My holy day, and call the Sabbath a delight, the holy of
Yehovah, honourable, and shalt honour Him, not doing thine own ways, nor finding
thine own pleasure, nor speaking thine own words. Then shalt thou delight
thyself in Yehovah, and I will cause thee to ride upon the high places
of the earth and feed thee with the the heritage of Yaarkov thy father,
for the mouth of Yehovah has spoken it". Isa. 58:13,14
Do you expect Elohim to bless you
if you come before Him being unclean? Will He then sanctify you? in
no way!
Agree with your wives that no temptation
be forthcoming for the space of just twenty four hours.
You can do this, because Elohim has
promised you "Thou
shalt not make unto thee any images-Lo pesel".
"Six
days shalt thou labour and do all thy
work".
It
is the will of Elohim to honour your parents, but it becomes a work of the
flesh when they are dishonoured.
All ten words, and indeed the whole
Torah is given to us in order to keep us from the presumption of our own works, which
only culminate in covetousness.
I have kept the best of
Elohim's promises till last. "Thou
shalt not take the name of Yehovah Eloheyka in vain - lo shav ,
and as it will not be in vain - shav, then it must be shavah - of worth
to those who call themselves by his name. "As
it is written, Yehovah shall establish thee an holy people unto himself as
he hath sworn unto thee. If thou shalt keep the commandments of Yehovah your
Elohim and walk in his ways. And all the people of the earth shall see that
thou art called by the name of Yehovah and they shall be afraid of you".
Deut. 28:9,10.(Deut. 1:14.; 1Kings.18:21-39.; 2Chron. 7:14.)
"But now saith Yehovah that created thee, O Yaarkov, and He that formed thee,
O Israel, fear not for I have redeemed thee I have called thee
by thy name, thou art mine.
When thou passest through the waters,
I will be with thee, and through the rivers, they shall not overflow
thee, when thou walkest through the fire thou shalt not be burned, neither
shall the flame kindle upon thee.
For I am Yehovah Eloheyka the holy one of Israel, thy saviour: I gave
Egypt for thy ransom, Ethiopia and Seba for thee.
Since thou was precious in My sight,
thou hast been honourable, and I will give men for thee, and people for thy
life.
Fear not: for I am with thee: I will
bring thy seed from the east, and gather thee from the west.
I
will say to the north, Give up; and to the south, Keep not back: bring My
sons from far, and My daughters from the ends of the earth;
Every one that is called by my name: for I have created himfor my glory.
I have formed him; yae I have made him". Isa. 43:1-
"We are thine, thou never
bearest rule over them, they were not called by thy name." Isa.
63:19(Jer.14:9;15:16. Dan. 9:19.)
Do not look at the decalogue
as a set of laws that must be kept in order to give favour with Elohim, but
rather, as His promises to His holy people whom He has redeemed from the house
of bondage and called by His name. If you believe this truth "Thou
shalt not." When
we cease from our own works, we are sanctified in His rest.
We.
. Israel of old misunderstood
the purpose of the law, as proved by their answer. "All
that Yehovah hath said we will do and be obedient ."
Ex.24:7. Whereas the answer which Yehovah wanted to
hear was :-' We will cease from our own works and rest.
Obedience is always the result of love and never its cause.
Because Elohim knows that
the desire of man is towards man's own works, He gave a sign to Israel which
we have incorporated into what we now call the "Shema".
"And Yehovah to spoke unto Moshe, saying, Speak unto the children of Israel
and bid them that they make them fringes - tzittzit in the borders of their
garments, throughout their generations, and that they put upon the tzittzit
- fringe of the borders a thread of blue. And it shall be unto you for a tzittzit
- fringe, that ye may look upon it, and remember all
the commandments of Yehovah and do them and that ye seek not after
your own heart and your own eyes, after which ye used to go a whoring. That
ye may remember and do all My commandments,
and be holy unto Elohaykem which brought you out of the land of Egypt to be
your Elohim. I am Yehovah Elohaykem . Num. 15:37-41.
Several things are immediately
apparent, (1) The white of the tzittzit - fringe denotes the righteousness
of the children of Israel who believe Yehovah is their salvation and their
redeemer. As it was with the white garments of the high priest and his
sons. (2) The blue threads signify that we are royalty, being the children
of Yehovah our heavenly King. (3) The tzittzit being on the canaf - wing signifies
the extremity of the law, beyond which is no safety.
"How
excellent is thy loving kindness Elohim, the children of Adam put their trust
under the shadow of thy wings". Ps. 36:7. The ten words is a fence
to keep sin out of the lives of the children of Israel. (4) Who are the children
of Israel? Men only? and not our women also? Yes! Women also need Protection.
"I will say to the
north give up, and to the south, keep not back, bring My sons from far, and
My daughters from the ends
of the earth, even everyone that is called by My name". Isa. 43:6,7.
The women also, being called by His name, are the children of Israel,
and therefore need to be reminded to obey all the precepts given by
Yehovah through Moshe to all the children of Israel. (5) When should the tzittzitt
be worn? When you may look upon it. That is: during the waking hours. You
will see them when you dress in the morning and when you undress at night,
also at any other time you may be tempted to undress.
"Be
glad then ye children of Zion and rejoice in Yehovah your Elohim. For
He hath given you the (teaching) former rain in just measure and he causeth
to come down for you rain, the (teaching) latter rain firstly"
Joel. 2:23.
"Come
and let us return unto Yehovah, for He hath torn and He will heal us, He hath
smitten and He will bind us up. After two days will He revive us, on the third
day He will raise us up that we may live in His presence. Let us know, let
us press on to know Yehovah, for His going forth is sure as the dawn. He shall
come to us as the rain, as the latter and former rain unto the earth." "Sow
to yourself in righteousness, reap in mercy, break up your fallow ground,
for it is time to seek Yehovah till He come and rain righteousness upon you.
Ye have plowed wickedness, ye have reaped iniquity, ye have eaten the fruit
of lies, because thou didst trust
in thy way, in the multitude of thy mighty men".
Hos.6:1-3;10:12,13.
When Elohim speaks of the latter rain,
is He merely speaking of moisture - H2 O. Hear the words of Yehovah.
"Give ear ye heavens and I will speak, and hear earth the words of My mouth.
My doctrine shall drop as
the rain, my speech shall
distill as the dew, as the small rain upon the tender herb, and as the showers
upon the grass, because I will publish the name of Yehovah, ascribe ye greatness
unto Elohanu. He is the rock, His work is perfect, for all His ways are judgment.
El of truth and without iniquity. Just and right is He". Deut.
32:1-4. And again.
"He
shall come down like rain upon the mown grass, as showers that water the earth.
In His days shall the righteous flourish, and abundance of peace as long as
the moon indureth". Ps. 72:6,7.
The word of Elohim and the Holy Spirit
are inseparable. Therefore to reject His word is to spurn the Holy Spirit,
but to receive His word and believe and obey it, also brings with it the Holy
Spirit, to give you understanding, assurance and faith. Humble yourselves
and let the Holy Spirit soak deeply into your hearts and tremble with awe
when you hear Him speak.
"And I will give them one heart. And I will put a new spirit within you, and
I will take away the stony heart out of their flesh and will give them a heart
of flesh, that they may walk in My statutes and keep My ordinances and do
them, and they shall be My people and I will be there Elohim".
Eze. 11:19,20.
"Man doth not live by bread only,
but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of Yehovah doth man live".
Deut. 8:3. "Therefore
cease ye from man whose breath is in his nostrils for wherein is he to be
accounted of". Isa. 2:22.
It is necessary
that I tell you these things first, before I speak of Yaarkov's trouble and
the coming of the Messiah, why he comes and who shall survive that time of
trouble. Unless you are wearing that same armour that David wore when he defeated
Goliath, you will not survive. Goliath wore the very best armour that man
could make, and his ‘man made’ weapons were bigger and better
than any mans. But David put off from him both the armour of man and his weapons,
and drew near with the weapons that Elohim provided. Therefore he was cursed
and insulted by his adversary, but, undaunted he went on clothed in the armour
of the name of Yehovah of hosts the Elohim of the armys of Israel. And the
rest is history. ( 1 Sam.
17:4-50.)
What now of the future
and the things that are very soon to come? Even a blind man can see the paramount
events taking place now in our time, and the level of moral degradation to
which the world has fallen.
"Now therefore
hear Israel to the statutes and to the judgements which I teach you, for to
do them that ye may live, and go in and possess the land which Yehovah Eloha
of your fathers giveth you. Ye shall
not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish aught
from it, That ye may keep the commandments of Yehovah Elohaycem which
I command you". Deut. 4:1,2.
Am I now in this day, speaking of
the conquest of the land of Israel only? In no way! That was fulfilled by
the son of Nun. While it is true that the land of Israel will indeed be cleansed
from the filth of the multitude of sinners who presently reside there. I am
pointing you to your Leader who will guide you into heaven and grant you eternal
life, As
it is written. Yehovah came from Sinai and rose up from Seir unto them. He
shined forth from mount Paran, and He came with ten thousands of saints. From
His right hand went a fiery law for them. Yea He loved the people, all His
saints are in Thy hand: and they sat down at Thy feet; every one shall receive
of Thy words". Deut. 33:2,3.
You will ride in the chariots
of salvation and the sun and the moon will stand still in that day. (Hab.
3:3-15.)
END OF PART TWO.
Now that you rejoice to obey Yehovah your
redeemer with a new heart, then, (and only then,) will you be ready to accept
the truth of part three.
Shalom
Eliyahu
.
PART THREE
Welcome to Yaarkov's trouble.
Why Yaarkov's trouble and not the world's
trouble? For two reasons. (1) all Jews who profess to be believers must wrestle
with the truth in their own mind.
This revolution at first is unknown to the
world. (Non believers.) However, (2) When it becomes known that the first
fruits have accepted the truth. Then will be great persecution, both from
the gentiles and from those Jews who have chosen not to believe. Some may
even die for their faith: and then comes the Messiah.
Even now Yehovah is sifting out those who
would follow tradition rather than truth, and so it must be, thus you yourself
will know that this is Yaarkov's trouble and each must wrestle as our father
Yaarkov did.
"And
I will bring the third part through the fire and will refine them as silver
is refined, and will try them as gold is tried. They shall call on my name,
and I will hear them, I will say, it is my people, and they shall say, Yehovah
Eloha". Zech. 13:9.
In this time of trouble your protection shall
be. "As it is written.
For Yehovah will pass through to smite the Mitzrayim; and when he seeth the
blood upon the lintel, and on the two side posts, Yehovah will pass over the
door, and will not suffer the destroyer to come in unto your houses to smite
you". Ex.12:23.
But how can those who don't believe that
the Messiah shed His blood "To
be accepted for you" (Lev. 23 11.) have faith in that blood to
save them? They therefore make his promise void, it is of no avail to
them, therefore they have no part in the first fruits: they will never be
his bride. "For
it is the blood that maketh atonement for the soul"
Lev. 17:11.
And what of those who are sifted out? They
must take their chances in the disorder and confusion that is to engulf all
the inhabitants of the world, where as little as one sixth will survive.
( Eze. 39:2.)
"Yehovah
hear thee in the day of trouble; the name of the Elohim of Yaarkov defend
thee.” Ps.20:1.
All events concerning the Messiah are
foreshadowed in scripture. As it is written.
"At
the mouth of two witnesses, or at the mouth of three witnesses, shall the
matter be established". Deut. 19: 15.
First witness. The sacrifices
of Yehovah, that were offered in the sanctuary, fall into three
distinct categories,(1) For Yehovah alone. These included some of the
Sin and Burnt offerings, and all the offerings where the blood was taken into
the tabernacle to make an atonement.
(2) The sacrifices that Yehovah shared
with the priests. (First fruits) These included some Sin, Burnt, Meat, trespass,
Heave and Wave offerings. The atonement was always made at the altar.
(3) The sacrifices that Yehovah shared with
the priests and the people who brought the sacrifice. These included Peace,
Thank and Voluntary offerings.
Second
witness. Moadey Yehovah. - Feasts
of Yehovah.
(1) Pesach. - Passover, Wave sheaf. Unleavened
bread.
(2) Hag Bikurim. - First fruits.
(3) Sukot. - Tabernacles. Including
Day of trumpets and the Day of atonement.
Third
witness. Yosef in Egypt.
(1) Yosef's identity kept secret from his brethren
at their first visit.
(2) Yosef revealed himself to his brothers at their
second visit.
(3) Yosef reunited with the whole house
of Israel.
Notice that each of the three witnesses have
three events with similarities so striking as to remove any thought of coincidence
from one's mind. Now understand the meaning of these prophecies.
The
fulfillment of the sacrifices for Yehovah alone, Pesach and the Wave
sheaf. yosef's first meeting with his brethren, is the first appearing of
the Messiah. Israel had no concious part, although it was done alone for the
welfare of Israel.
The
fulfillment of the sacrifices that Yehovah shared with the priests,
the feast of First fruits, and Joseph's revelation to his brethren at
their second visit, is the coming of our Messiah to claim His bride. the First
fruits.
The
fulfillment of the sacrifices that Yehovah shared with the priests
and the people. The hagim - feasts that make up the third appointment
with Yehovah in the year, and Yosef’s reuniting of the whole house of
Israel will be at the end of this world…. As we know it.
The Messiah is the fulfillment in person of all
the promises made by Yehovah. As the Fathers” have rightly said.
For example. Yehovah promised his life to redeem his people. The only way
this could be accomplished was for Yehovah to be manifest in the flesh, as,
in the spirit there is no death and there is no blood.
The completion of the promises
of Yehovah are divided into three separate events, foreshadowed in His word
by the given types, and by these we can see where we stand in time today,
and know with certaintywhat the next expected event is to be.
Look again at the first set of three types.
In order to fulfill this set of promises, (1) He must be flesh and blood (2)
He must be sinless, (no defects) to be fit to atone for the sins of others.
(3) He must be killed as a perfect atonement. (No blood no forgiveness.) (4)
His offering must be accepted by the Father who is the final judge, against
who's verdict no man can appeal.
How was
He to be born? "Therefore
Adonai Himself shall give you a sign, behold a maiden shall conceive, and
bear a Son, and shall call His name Immanuel. Before she travailed she brought
forth, before her pain came she was delivered of a man child. Honey shall
He eat. that He may know to refuse the evil and choose the good". Isa.
7:14,15; 66:7.
Where
was He to be born? "But
thou Bethlehem Ephratah though thou be little among the thousands of Judah,
yet out of thee shall He come forth unto Me that this to be ruler in Israel;
whose going forth have been from of old from everlasting". Mic.
5:1.(2)
What
work was he anointed to do? "The
spirit of Adonai Yehovah is upon Me; because Yehovah hath anointed Me to preach
good tidings unto the meek; He hath sent Me to bind up the brokenhearted,
to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them
that are bound; to proclaim the acceptable year of Yehovah".Isa.
61:1,2. "Who hath
believed our report? And to whom is the arm of Yehovah revealed? For He shall
grow up before Him as a tender plant, and as a root out of dry ground: He
hath no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see Him, there is no beauty
that we should desire Him.
He is despised and rejected of men; a man
of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from
Him; He was despised, and we esteemed Him not.
Surely He hath borne our griefs, and carried
our sorrows: yet we did esteem Him stricken, smitten of Elohim and afflicted.
But He was wounded for our transgressions,
He was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon
Him; and with His stripes we are healed.
All we like sheep have gone astray;
we have turned everyone to his own way; and Yehovah hath laid on Him
the iniquity of us all.
He was oppressed, and He was afflicted, yet
He opened not His mouth: He is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as
a sheep before her Shearer's is dumb, so He openeth not His mouth.
He was taken from prison and from judgment:
and who shall declare His generation? for He was cut off out of the land of
the living: for the transgression of My people was He stricken.
And He made His grave with the wicked, and
with the rich in His death; because He had done no violence, neither was deceit
in His mouth.
Yet it pleased Yehovah to bruise Him; He
hath put Him to grief; when thou shalt make His
soul an offering for sin, He shall see His seed, He shall prolong his
days, and the pleasure of Yehovah shall prosper in His hand.
He shall see the travail of His soul, and
shall be satisfied: by His knowledge shall My righteous servant
justify many; for He shall bear
their iniquities.
Therefore will I appoint Him a place with
the great, and He shall divide the spoil with the strong; because He hath
poured out His soul unto death: and He was numbered with the transgressors;
and He bear the sin of many, and
made intercession for the transgressors". Isa. 53.
How
was He to die? Look at the prophetic type. Adonizedec (Lord of
justice) King of Jerusalem, died with four others hung on trees, and at the
going down of the sun, he was cast into a cave and great stones were laid
upon the caves mouth. (Yehosh. 10:1-27.)
His commission from His Father was to save
His people and this was accomplished, therefore his name was called Yehoshua.
(He by whom Yehovah will save).
"And He showed me Yehoshua the high priest
standing before the Angel of Yehovah, and Satan standing at His right hand
to resist Him.
And Yehovah said unto Satan, Yehovah
rebuke thee Satan; even Yehovah that hath chosen Jerusalem rebuke thee; is
not this a brand plucked out of the fire?
Now Yehoshua was clothed with filthy
garments, and stood before the angel.
And He answered and spake unto those that
stood before Him,saying, Take away the filthy garments from Him. and
unto Him He said, Behold, I have caused thine iniquity to pass from thee,
and I will clothe thee with change of raiment.
And I said, let them set a fair mitre
upon His head. So they set a fair mitre upon His head, and clothed Him with
garments. And the angel of Yehovah stood by.
And the angel of Yehovah agreed to
Yehoshua saying,
Thus saith Yehovah of hosts; If thou
wilt walk in My ways, and if thou
wilt keep My charge, then thou shalt also judge My house, and shalt also keep
My courts, and I will give thee places to walk among these that stand by.
Hear now, Yehoshua the high priest,
thou, and thy fellows that sit before thee: for they are men wondered at:
for, behold, I will bring forth My servant the shoot.
For behold the stone that I have laid
before Yehoshua; upon one stone shall be seven eyes: behold, I will engrave
the graving thereof, saith Yehovah of hosts, and I will remove the iniquity
of that land in one day.
In that day, saith Yehovah of hosts,
shall ye call every man his neighbor under the vine and under the fig tree".
Zech. 3.
The perfect atonement for our sin,
has been accepted by the highest authority. Will you now accept his judgement?
will you acknowledge that your redemption has been completed? or, do you still
look in vain for the first advent of the Messiah.
Yehoshua is the fulfilment of the wave
sheaf that was offered during the week of unleavened bread - who was offered
"To be accepted for you".
(Lev. 23:11.)
"Blessed
be Yehovah that hath given rest unto His people Israel according to all that
he promised: there hath not failed one of all His good promise, which He promised
by the hand of Moshe his servant". 1Kings. 8:56.
As the tribe of Levy was chosen as
the first fruits of Israel; "To
stand before Yehovah, to minister unto Him and to bless in His name". Yehovah
being his inheritance.” (Deut. 10:8-10.) Even so at His next
appearance, the first fruits of Israel will be gathered to him.
"Gather
my saints together unto Me, those that have made a covenant with Me by sacrifice".
Ps.50:5 ( Isa.56:1-8.)
"And His feet shall
stand in that day upon the Mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the
east, and the Mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward
the east and toward the west, a very great valley; and half of the mountain
shall remove toward the north and half of it toward the south.
And ye shall flee to the valley of
the mountains; for the valley of the mountains shall reach unto Azal: yea,
ye shall flee, like as ye fled from before the earthquake in the days of Uzziah
King of Judah: and Yehovah Elohay shall come, and all the saints with
Him.”. Zech. 14:4,5.
They will be his bride,
"As it is written. For as a young man Marrieth a virgin, so shall Thy sons
marry Thee. And as a bridegroom rejoiceth over the bride, so shall Elohayik
rejoice over thee" Isa. 62:5.
Turn O backsliding
children. Saith Yehovah. For I am married unto you, and I will take you one
of a city and two of a family, and I will bring you to Zion.”
Jer. 3:14.
Those who will be taken at that time. are
among the first fruits of Israel. (I say among, as there have been saints
who are worthy in all generations).
"But
ye shall be named the priests of Yehovah. Ministers of Elohim".
Isa. 61:6.
"And
ye shall be unto me a kingdom of priests, and an holy nation".
Ex. 19:6.
Now when he takes one of a city and
two of a family, will they be of the tribe of Levi only? not at all! But He
will judge by his own righteous criteria, of belief, obedience, humility,
truthfulness and faith.
"He
hath showed thee O man, what is good; and what doth Yehovah require of thee,
but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with Eloheyka".
Mic. 6:8.
"The just shall live by his faith" Hab. 2:4.
The first fruits of Israel
are the bride, and the bride is the Queen of heaven. But in the fact that
you call the Sabbath the queen, you deny yourselves that honour. Therefore
Elohim will grant your own desire, and you will be deemed unworthy to be counted
among the first fruits. Remember Khavah
Now I know brethren, that you have
been ignorant of this fact, as you burn candles, pour out your drink, and
bake chalah - Sabbath bread .......(or do you spell it calah - bride, betrothed.)
to your malcah - Queen. Therefore I counsel you to hear the words of Elohim.
"The
children gather wood, and the fathers kindle the fire, and the women knead
their dough to make cakes to the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings
unto other gods, that they may provoke Me to anger. do they provoke Me to
anger? Saith Yehovah. And not themselves to the confusion of their own faces."
Jer. 7:18,19.
And what did the people answer in those
days?
"As for the word that thou hast spoken unto us, in the name of Yehovah, we
will not hearken unto thee. But we will certainly do what ever thing goeth
forth out of our own mouth, to burn incense unto the queen of heaven, and
to pour out drink offerings unto her as we have done, we and our farthers
and our Kings and our princes in the cities of Judah ---- And when we burned
incense to the queeen of heaven, and poured out drink offerings unto her,
did we make her cakes to worship her, and pour out drink offerings unto her
with out our men?" Jer. 44:16,17,19.
"This
is a nation that obeyeth not the voice of Yehovah Elohayv, nor receiveth correction:
truth is perished, and is cut off from their mouth ". Jer. 7:28.
Repent and make every effort to be
among the number of those who are chosen.
"For since the beginning of the world, man hath not heard, nor perceived by
the ear, neither hath the eye seen, Elohim beside Thee, what He hath prepared
for him that waiteth for Him." Isa. 64:4.
Just as Israel was unaware of
Yehovah's first coming as our Messiah, to fulfil His promise of our redemption,
so again, not all who call themselves Jews” will be aware of
His coming to claim his bride, the queen, the first fruits, and to grant them
eternal life.
END OF PART THREE
Son
Of man. I have made thee a watchman unto the house of Israel: therefore hear
the word at My mouth, and give them warning from Me.
When I say unto the wicked, thou shalt surely
die; and thou givest him not warning, nor speakest to warn the wicked from
his wicked way, to save his life; the same wicked man shall die in his iniquity;
but his blood will I require at thine hand.
Ezek. 3:18,19.
"How long halt ye between two opinions? If Yehovah be Elohim , Follow him:
But if Baal follow him". 1.Kings. 18:21.
