IX. Sixpense None the Richer - Breathe Your Name Such a long name for such a wonderful song and group. The woman is singing about how the guy makes her feel. Orgasm? Probably. Kickass? Without a doubt.
VII. 311 - Amber Wow! Not many songs give me a raging bonar; in fact, none do. But if they did, 311's Amber would be one of the woody poppers. The tune is 311 all the way, and that's a great thing. Props 311.
VII. Dave Matthews Band - The Space Between What kind of Top Ten Love Songs List would it be DMB wasn't in there somewhere? The Devil's one, that's what. Couples fight. Big Dave M. is here to sex you guys up again.
VI. Goo Goo Dolls - Iris The lyrics are a bunch of mumbo jumbo, but because of City of Angels, women melt like hot butter. This song will get you laid, no matter how butt-ugly your mug is. I've seen it happen.
V. Juanes - Es Por Ti What? You don't listen to spanish music? Yeah, i don't care if you don't understand it, spanish is a romantic language and you need to take spanish classes. This song is very poetic compared to many songs in this list. The singer lists what she has done to him and now you want to do the touch with him.
IV. Eagle Eye Cherry - Save Tonight You know when it's 2 am at your girlfriend's house and you have to ship out to the Air Force on that morning? It's happened to everyone, and this song captures the words and emotional rhythm of that. I think he joined the Air Force like 30 times because of this song.
III. Tiziano Ferro - Tardes Negras Because of his heavy spanish accent it's hard for even me to understand the lyrics completely, but by the overall mood and his voice, i know he's talking in words not even Profesional Love Linguists would understand. Just listening to that song has given many manly men homoerotic feelings. Now i'm fighting for my girl's affections when she heard this song.
II. 311 - Love Song Very fitting title indeed. The lyrics are short and to the point, sacrificing feeling for rhythm. That doesn't stop me from putting this song on my number 2 spot, as this song strikes a chord with me. At some points even, it feels as if they ripped off my work. That's OK. 311 can have my car if they want, because they woo me over. Everytime.
I. Switchfoot - Only Hope God, as much as i hate this song to be my number one it is, but it is just too good. It's not really a love song as much as it is a worship song, but that didn't stop Mandy Moore (give the girl a burger please). Many songs can melt women, but this is the ONLY song that ever melted me. If i'm in a car, alone with the radio/CD off, this is the song i sing. It's about some guy who prays to be only for God, but it's really for the listener to decide who he wants to be for. This is my number 1 Love Song in my playlist.
