A: Of course, Elfu Bob welcomes all individuals in Kenya from all backgrounds.

Q: Can I join in a temporary basis?
A: Yes, Elfu Bob welcomes members even for short periods of time. Please advise for how long you think you would join.

Q: How can I join Elfu Bob if I am in another country?
A: Unfortunately, we do not have mechanisms to received funding from outside Kenya. But you can initiate or join the [10 Dollar Club] (or similar) in your country! :-)

Q: I am not a member of Elfu Bob, can I present a project?
A: Only Elfu Bob members can present projects. Members involvement is a key factor for receiving aid. Please contact individual members and get them involved!

Q: I am a member and a friend is involved in a project, can I present it?
A: Elfu Bob requires that members are connected to projects they present. Please research and contact your friend for detail information and check the [criteria for funding].

Q: I want to be a member but I don�t have 1000 Shillings a month, can my contribution be less than 1000 Shillings?
A: Yes, you can join with whatever monies you can donate. There is a fee of 500 Shillings for interns. And it can be less depending on your possibilities.

Q: I don�t have any money but want to get involved, how can I contribute?
A: You can join the monthly activities or donate to Elfu Bob in kind depending on the activity. If you want, you will be added to the email list where you will receive instructions of how to contribute.

Q: How do I know what happens with my money?
A: Elfu Bob meetings are held monthly to decide where the collected funds should go. Detailed financial reports are prepared when the activity is completed and original receipts are available for those who want to see them.

Q: Can I receive a financial report of the activities?
A: Financial reports are sent monthly via email and published on the internet. Check this website for updates.

Q: Who is in charge of Elfu Bob? Does is receive any salary?
A: All members are welcome to participate in the monthly meeting, and the ones who attend are in charge of the funding decision. Of course, we have more active members than others but they change with time. Currently Wendy Jackson, Esther Reilink, Matthew Woods (from UNEP) and Sandra Velarde (ICRAF) are leading the outreach, logistics and organization. They DO NOT receive ANY salary, their work is ad-honorem and they even pay for their own transport when developing Elfu Bob activities.
