Mountain Springhouse

While the springhouse, the foreground, and surrounding trees and shrubs exist as pictured, it is nowhere near a mountain or a lake. After sketching the scene, I did a watercolor on location but just didn't like it compositionally. After a few experiments with the composition I settled on this and decided to do it in oil.
