The Imperial Prognosticator

     In a large ceremony, in Talinie, Thane Thuriene Donalls, Thane of Talinie and Supreme Hierarch of the Northern Imperial Temple of Haelyn, formed the Order of St. Fitzalan, named after the famous spiritual leader that lead a spiritual dissent from the mainstream temples of Haelyn of his time. His Grace, Archduke Aerin Boeruine was named its leader, and, following this, the Thane swore vassalage to the Archduke, making him her Liege Lord. Immediately following the ceremony it is said that the Archduke went off alone to contemplate and, when he returned, it was upon the back of a great lion which he was riding!

    Among that many recruits named for the Order of St. Fitzalan is Dirk Andien, son of Bannier Andien of the Andien Imports and Exports. Sir Andien, excepted the title of Baronet from the Thane and Archduke, on behalf of his father who was not personally present for the ceremony.

     Minor skirmishes along the borders of the elven controlled provinces of Dhoesone and Thurazor occurred this month as well.

     Also the Gheallie Sidhe raided nearly all the human guilds and temples within Dhoesone. Rumors say that many of the were caught unprepared and suffered a lot.

     Surprisingly, Prince Kendrik Avanil cancelled plans to make calls to arms from his kinsmen in Avanil effectively ending all spring musterings that had been planned.  He also cancelled pervious calls as well. Instead he made a official state visit to the Duchy of Diemed; this must bode well for Anuirean stability.

     Within Boeruine there was much news to report.  With the departure and arrival of two galleons from the Archduchy and their return from gathering reparations from Prince Avanil and the Principality of Avanil, Archduke Aerin Boeruine gave a lavish amount of monetary aid and support to the citizens who suffered dearly during the Avanil attack that was masterfully repelled by the Archduke. The Archduke mainly focused his efforts on the families whose fathers and sons died defending the Archduchy.  This display of utter kindness and understanding has been a rarity amongst the line of Boeruine and it bodes well for his intentions to his people and the Empire.

Also within the Archduchy, there have been some very strange reports of events happening that can only be the workings of magic, though the Prognosticator has had little luck in confirming anything to prove or disprove the occurrences.
