A HEARTHY SOUP
Fill a 2 quart pot
3/4 full with filter water.
Add:
springle of garlic powder,
about 1/2 teaspoon of parsley, springle a dash of pepper,
1 onion,
6 to 8 medium slice carrots,
6 medium potaoes cube,
1 celery stick,
1 1/2 cups of shredded cabbage,
2 cups spaghetti noodles,
1 or 2 chicken breasts,
11/2 cups of frozen peas
or mixed vegetables
, If you like broccoli,or cauliflower
you may add these also.
Boil all this together except noodles.
add them when soup is 3/4 done.
When done for taste and color
add about a 1`/4 cup of ketchup
or one can of tomato soup .
( There isn't much fat in the tomato soup
when you add it to a large pot of soup.)
If you don't want fat at all omit
the chicken breasts,tomato soup or ketchup.

CABBAGE SOUP DIET

Basic Fat Burning Soup:
6 large green onions
1 or 2 cans tomatoes
1 bunch of celery
1 large head of cabbage
Lipton Onion Soup mix-l envelope
Season with pepper, onion powder,
garlic powder, curry, parsley , or hot sauce.
(you can vary the amounts of veggies,
ex: less celery, more onions, etc.
Cut vegetables in small to medium pieces
and cover with plenty of water.
Boil fast for ten minutes.
Cut to simmer and continue cooking
until veggies are tender.
This soup can be eaten anytime you are hungry.
Eat as much as you want, whenever you want.
This soup will not add calories.
The more you eat,
the more weight you will lose.
DAY ONE:
All fruits except bananas.
Cantaloupe and watermelon are
lower in calories than most fruits.
Eat only the soup and fruits.
For drinks - unsweetened tea,
cranberry juice or water
, decaf coffee or tea(black)
no artificial sweetners!
DAY TWO:
All vegetables.
Eat until you are stuffed with
all the fresh raw or frozen veggies.
Try to eat green leafy veggies
and stay away from dry beans, peas and corn.
Eat along with the soup.
At dinner time on this day, reward yourself
with a big baked potato and butter.
Do not eat any fruits.
DAY THREE:
Eat all the soup , fruits and veggies you want. Do not have a baked potato
and remember - no banana!
DAY FOUR:
Bananas and skim milk.
Eat as many as 8 bananas and drink
as many as 8 glasses of skim milk .,br> Bananas are high in calories and
carbohydrates and so is the milk,
but on this particular day your body will need
the potassium and the carbohydrates,,br> proteins and calcium to lessen your craving for sweets.
DAY FIVE:
Beef or poultry, or fish, and Tomatoes.
You may have 10-20 ounces of beef, poultry or fish,
and a can of tomatoes, tomato juice
or as many as 8 fresh tomatoes on this day.
Try to drink at least 6-8 glasses of water this day
to wash away the uric acid in your body.
DAY SIX:
Beef, poultry or fish, with Veggies.
Eat to your heart's content of the beef,
poultry and fish and veggies this day.
You can even have two or three steaks
if you like with green leafy veggies, but no baked potato.
Be sure and eat the soup at least once today.
DAY SEVEN:
Brown rice, unsweetened fruit juice,
and veggies.
Again, stuff yourself.
Be sure to have the soup at least once today.
DEFINITE NO NO'S: Bread, alcohol, no carbonated drinks
(including diet drinks). Stick with water, unsweetened tea,
black coffee, unsweetened fruit juices, cranberry juice

SUSAN'S POTATO SOUP
1 onion, chopped
5 c. potato, diced
1 c. white cheese or
equivalent cheese substitute (opt)
3/4 c. milk (skim or 2%)
1 Tbl basil
1 Tbl Cajun spices ("Tony's" is good)
2 tsp garlic powder
2 tsp Italian spice mix
(oregano, rosemary, thyme, etc.)
1 tsp Dijon mustard

Sauté onion in large saucepan
with your favorite sauté medium.
Add potato and sauté for 5-10 minutes.
Add water to cover and bring to a boil.
When potatoes start to get soft use
a potato masher or spoon to soften to the consistency you like.
( I like to leave some chunks for texture)
Add spices and milk.
Reduce heat
Add cheese if desired and let simmer
fo r 10 minutes,
stirring occasionally.
Note: I tend to like strong flavors.
If you like a more subtle flavor,
start with smaller amounts
and adjust till it suits you.

FAST FAT- FREE SOUP

1-1/2 quarts water
2 sticks celery, chopped (1" is fine)
2 carrots, chopped as above
1 medium onion chopped
1 - 2 cloves garlic, crushed or minced
1 to 2 ounces angel hair pasta broken
into 1" pieces
1 can drained and washed pinto beans
Take everything, toss it into a pressure
cooker and cook for 15 minutes or bring
to a boil in regular covered pan and let
cook for 45 minutes.
Salt and pepper to taste...serves around
four.
few hours. Then add some water (if
needed) and reheat. The starch from the
pasta will thicken the soup a bit giving
it a nice smooth texture that will feel
as though f*t was there.

GINGER PEANUT BUTTER SOUP

1/2 an onion
broccoli
cauliflower
carrots
celery
(any other veggies you want to add.. asparagus potatoes)
1 clove of garlic
1/2 cup natural peanut butter (no salt or sugar)
veggie stock
a big can of diced tomatoes
a couple tsp of cayenne
tsp of cumin
tsp of ginger
Fry the onion and garlic in a big pot in some olive oil
till it's kinda clear.. throw in the rest of the veggies
and let em cook for about half an hour
mix in the peanut butter and the tomatoes stir it up good.
dump in the veggie stock and the cayenne
and let it simmer for about an hour so it's nice and thick.

FAT BURNING SOUP

SOUP
9 green onions
2 large green peppers
1 Bunch celery
1 cup carrots
1 package of Knorr veg. soup mix-
( add amount of water it says to )
2 cans of tomato sauce
( let simmer or , add herbs and garlic to taste )
DAY 1
Soup , all fruit you want, except bananas
DAY 2
Soup all veg. you want
DAY 3
Soup , mix day 1 and 2
DAY 4
Soup up to 8 bananas, skim milk
DAY 5
Soup 10-20 oz lean meat & 6 tomatoes
Day 6
Soup 10- 20 oz lean meat & all veg. you want
Day 7
Soup brown rice veg all you want
Each day you can have all the water coffee or tea but no milk
or sugar in coffee. If you loose 15 -17 pounds
in the 7 days must stop for 2 says before you continue again.
No alcohol--- no beer Tyson

BEET SOUP

Wash well bunch of beets
cook and peel , sliced in small pieces
Few beet greens and a lot of stems
washed and finely chopped
3 celery stalks diced
Pepper to taste
1 large onion diced
4 carrots sliced in small pieces
Bay leave for favor
(throw away after soup is done)

2 tablespoons vingear
1 tablespoon horseradish
1 can tomato soup
Some dill chopped up fine

Put veggies in a large pot with water to cover
Add remaining ingredients and mix thoroughly
Simmer until beets and carrots are tender .
