ABOUT eKsperim[E]nto
eKsperim[E]nto Film and Video Festival is a volunteer-ran, non-corporate travelling festival committed to encouraging and promoting young, unknown and less-visible Filipino independent filmmakers and video artists.  The festival focuses on experimental, independent and non-mainstream works but screens almost anything that is interesting.  Established in 1999 by a set of volunteer artists, our festival is the only travelling Filipino film and video festival featuring works from around the globe.
An annual festival that started in Seattle, Washington (USA), it is now held in Manila, with screening tours in key cities in the Philippines.  Since its 3rd edition (2003),  eKsperim[E]nto boasts of an ecclectic programming - 98% of which are either Asian or Philippine premieres!

FESTIVAL DATES
The 4th edition of eKsperim[E]nto is scheduled to open on a Friday, March 12, 2004 and will end on March 19, 2004.  Festival tours start on March 25, 2004 and ends on October 5, 2004
VENUE
For our 4th Edition, eKsperim[E]nto stays with its original home, the "Tanghalang Leandro V. Locsin" (Leandro V. Locsin Theater) at the ground floor of the  National Commission for Culture and the Arts located at 633 General Luna Street, Intramuros, Manila.
The two-hundred seater theater best fits our small and humble festival. The same theater is equipped with full air-conditioning, surround-sound and comfortable seats for our audiences.
Before coming in the theater, visitors can first visit the NCCA galleries where interesting exhibits are mounted.  And since February is Philippine Arts Month, visitors are surely in for artistic treats.
INTRAMUROS BY NIGHT
The Leandro V. Locsin Theater is at the heart of Intramuros (launched as major tourist destination by the Department of Tourism), otherwise known as the "walled city", one of the oldest tourist spots in the country.  Intramuros is best known for its pentagon-shaped structure.  Tourist spots such as Fort Santiago, Manila Cathedral, San Agustin Church and Museum, Silahis Arts & Crafts, Barbara's Restaurant, Ilustrado Restaurant and Palacio del Gobernador are all found inside Intramuros and its a short walk to Rizal Park and Manila Bay (stretching out to the Cultural Center of the Philippines).

After the eKsperim[E]nto screenings, you can take a very short walk (one block) and be part of the all night partying the Filipino way at the Clamshell and its nearby tourist stops.
