Biography:

Camille is the older sister of Renee and often looks down on her sister’s mistakes, with men and parenting. Camille is judgmental and thought marrying a doctor would improve her status among her friends.

Camille can be devious at times, but is also a good woman under it all. She is very controlling though. Her friends include Natasha Robertson and Leslie Samson. She doesn’t get on well with Leslie’s sister, Judi, who works with Russell at the hospital.

Nicknames: She is called “Cam” sometimes. She hated being called “Millie” by her mother.

Season History:

Season 1:

Camille and Russell returned from her sister’s wedding in Australia early in the season. They were surprised when Camille’s niece Cleo turned up on their doorstep a couple of days later. She had run away from her life in Australia, though she didn’t give too many details.

On Christmas Day 2002 Cleo overheard Camille talking about her and ran out of the apartment. Cleo returned and soon revealed to her aunt why she’d left Australia, she had left because of her new stepfather who had been beating her and Renee. Camille was shocked by this, but Cleo wouldn’t let her report Kelvin to the police, as it would only cause too much trouble.

A week later Renee arrived to bring her daughter back to Oz. Camille talked to her about the abuse, but didn’t get through to her sister. Camille said that Cleo could stay with her and Russell and in the end Renee agreed to this.

As the season progressed Camille and Cleo grew closer, with Camille revealing her fears that Russell could be having an affair with Judi to her niece. Cleo reassured her that Russell wouldn’t to anything like that, but towards the end of the season Camille’s fears were confirmed as she walked in on Russell and Judi.

They didn’t notice her and Camille immediately ran away. She vowed to make sure that she didn’t lose Russell.
