I worked with this semi-government organization for a period of two and a half years,                                              i.e. from December 1999 to May 2002.

I was on contract base (appointed as a Service Provider), attached to the DG office due to the sensitive nature of the project. In recognition of my services, I was also given the additional charge of Special Assistant to DG during the tenure of Mr.Idrees Anwar, ex-DG NIE.

Responsibilities:

· Research and development regarding Silicon Valley Concepts.

· Development of Master Plan and Architectural Design Solution for the Tech-Town.

· Development of the Tech-Town Web-Site, its hosting, back-up support and provision of feed back.

· Research and Comparative Study of the Developed Countries Export Promotion Policies with special reference to the development of Silicon Valley Infra-Structure.

· Meetings with the CBR regarding the research carried out for the Tech-Town.

· Dealing with the CDA regarding possession of Land for the Tech-Town.

· Preparation of Presentation drawings and Animation of the Project.

PROJECTS :

· Tech - Town, Islamabad. A Pilot Project based on the concept of Silicon Valleys around the globe.
