Training

"Every wrestler, new or old, knows that the most important thing in wrestling is training. Begining is always harder than furthering, but if you have the heart, you can make it through. Wrestling is like life, you win a few here, lose a few there, but as long as you gave everything your all, you will always turn out a winner" ~ Owen Hart

EGW is not only a promotion, but also a school. A school of wrestling. There are two head trainers at the school of EGW, they are Jesse Gindhart and Charles Durning. Jesse has been in the sport since the late 70's, and has picked up many different styles over the years. He is comming up on 25 years of wrestling. In those years, he has wrestled in the WWF, WCW, ECW, NWA, GWA and many many other indy promotions.

He has been training since the early 90's and has gotten alot of his students into bigger indy feds, which many made it into the ECW. Charles Durning has been in for 5 years altogether, but don't let those years fool you. He has been around the sport his whole life. his father and uncles wrestled and taught him things over the years and while he worked for ECW selling shirts, he was also learning some things backstage, from different wrestlers.

Together, they make an awesome training team and can show you everything you need to learn to become the best wrestler you can be. They go over EVERYTHING you need to know and want to know about training in a medium paced level. Depending on how fast you learn is depending on how fast you graduate. Trainee's usually take anywhere from 8 months to a year to complete thier course of training. We take our time explaining things, and as they say repitition makes perfection. We not only care for the well being of our trainees in side the training center, but also outside of training. We have many of other wrestlers that come and help out with training, and each has thier own special talents that could help our trainees to be the best possible wrestler he or she could be. We go step by step with each individual trainee and give them hands on training, each of them will have the opportunity to ask questions whenever desired, in fact we encourage asking questions. We also encourage trainees to lend a voice, and hand, when they pick up more, to help a newer trainee. Our training facilities are drug and alcohol free and are very strict on it. Consider EGW for your training family and you'll be finding your self in the best training around.
