| Page Seven Panel One: Office, Evening, interior. A huge dark-skinned man (His nationality we never discover, kind of looks Hawaiian) takes up one side of a cheep metal desk. There are a few papers on the desk, but nothing important. To his right is one of the suits and his left is a very attractive young woman with unnatural white hair. She has on a short one piece dress. The man on the other side ok the desk has a Hawaiian shirt on that�s yellow and green. Be sure to might it loud, tacky, and ugly. His black hair is slicked back and is turning gray. He is wearing large sun glasses in doors. The office has light coming through the half open blinds creating lines of light on everything. There are two large ferns behind him. CAPTION: This is the man we worked for I�ll get to the �we� later. He is a bit of a drug dealer, kinda. DRUG DEALER: Wonderful seeing you today eh? I have small job for you that is no problem. I just want the job done right. Better to job then you eh? Panel Two: Office, Evening, interior. The other side of the desk has Jack, McManus, and Tyler. They are all seated close together, but still sitting in their natural ways. Jack has his legs open with one arm over the chair. Tyler sits upright with his arms in lap. McManus has his arms crossed and is slouching with his legs wide open. Behind them to one side is a plain wooden door and a large fern. Jack and McManus are fixed on Tyler. TYLER: Sure thing doesn�t seem like a big deal we just make the drop and come back right? DRUG DEALER: (Off Panel) Yes TYLER: You guys cool with it�good lets get going. DRUG DEALER: (Off Panel) One thing more. Panel Three: Office, Evening, interior. Back to the Drug Dealers side of the table. The suit is still looking forward as the Drug Dealer shoots the woman. He doesn�t turn as he does it nor does he get up just points the gun at her and shoots. He remains calm as he talks to the guys. SFX: BLAAAM DRUG DEALER: Remember who I am and what I can do during this one so-kay? Panel Four: Office, Evening, interior. Jack�s side of the table. McManus is looking up at the ceiling like he didn�t see anything. Jack has his mouth wide open in disbelief hands open as if reaching for understanding. His expression should be almost comical. Tyler acts as if it doesn�t bother him but you can tell it does because he�s looking at the floor. CAPTION: Yeah laugh it up because I�d love to see your expression when little bits of trophy wife hit your shoes. Panel Five: Jack�s House, Evening, interior. Everyone is standing in Jacks kitchen holding a drink. Everyone is: McManus, Emma, Tyler, and Jack. All are frozen still, but the Jack space Jack. This means there are two Jacks one that is frozen and the other telling us the story. Jack also does a freeze frame when he tells stories. He is always dressed the same in the Jack Space as he is here in the freeze frames. He�s lighting a match off Tyler�s face for his cigarette. JACK: The woman is Emma Benson my girlfriend and reason for drinking, the blond is Tyler Logan whom we just met, and the large fellow is McManus whether that�s his first or last name isn�t important. JACK: Pre-gaming is important we always had a pre-game drink before anything. I in addition have a pre-game smoke. You don�t want to be getting shot at and need a smoke. Plus as we learned earlier smoking heightens your senses. Page Eight Panel One: Docks, night, exterior. Three men stand in front of a car holding a suitcase. Ten feet away stand Jack and McManus Tyler is sitting in the car behind them. Each car has it�s lights on. To one side of them is the land and the other is the water. They are standing on wooden planks. Panel Two: Docks, night, exterior. Bullets shoot past each group. The three other men fire back inland Jack looks back to Tyler and McManus has pulled up at huge gun like Dirty Harry�s. SFX: BLAM BLAM BLAM Panel Three: Docks, night, exterior. Jack is jumping out of the way while Tyler hits McManus with the car. McManus bounces off the windshield still holding onto his gun. The other guys are dead. SFX: SLAM! Panel Four: Docks, night, exterior. McManus flies limp into the water. Men come out of the darkness into the light stepping over the bodies of those they just killed. Tyler is talking to them from the car. The driver side is facing them. Jack isn�t in this panel. Panel Five: Docks, night, exterior. The cars are gone and so are the bodies. Jack is laying face down in a tall patch of weeds. CAPTION: It speaks for it�s self no reason to explain. |
