| Page Five Panel One: Street, morning, exterior. Close up on Jack shielding his eyes from the sun. The Shadow from his hand goes over his eyes, but hes still squinting from the light. JACK: Lousy sky, stupid sun. Panel Two: Street, morning, exterior. Hes lighting a cigarette while looking up and down the street. Still close in on Jack so we cant see the street. CAPTION: I thought no one was in sight. I could only see a few feet and my cigarette wouldnt light. Smoking helps you see better ask any doctor. Panel Three: Street, morning, exterior. The next two panels are a collection of panels. They follow Jacks eyes as he looks left then right. This is him physically turning so each panel is supposed to be him moving to see the entire street. They dont have to be separate panels if you can think of a better way to show movement without showing Jack. Its a normal street parked cars, mail box, lamps, etc. There isnt anyone on the street though. Panel Four: Street, morning, exterior. Hes scanning the other direction and there are four guys in suits pointing guns at him. They have that CIA look weve all come to love. CAPTION: I jinxed myself. JACK: fuck. Page Six Panel One: Street, morning, exterior. This is a large panel but there are two smaller panels below it. There are about twelve guys surrounding Jack with guns drawn yelling. They all have the CIA look. Jack is still trying to light his cigarette. A few of them have speech bubbles and in them running in a loop is whats in the caption below. They all arent saying it all just each of them have part. CIA: Its all gibberish to me what they were saying.----White noise----I wish I had a better memory Im sure some of the things they said were important, but I wasnt paying attention.---Man I could use a drink. JACK: Anybody got a light? Panel Two: Street, morning, exterior. Tight shot on one of the men hitting Jack in the back of the head with the butt of his gun. Jack falling with the cigarette in his mouth. His lighter is falling to the ground. SFX: CRAACK JACK: Hugh Panel Three: Jack Space, timeless, darkness. Jack looks straight ahead at us holding a lit cigarette. This is an empty dark space where he will talk to us from. There seems to be a light source that shines on his face although we never see it. Beyond Jack, the strange light, and smoke there isnt anything in the Jack Space. JACK: What happen between then and when I woke up Ill never learn, but it was a day or so later. Since Im out at this point I guess I fill you in on what lead to me getting clubbed outside some shitty bar. |
